Thousands of years ago dragons coexisted among humans, dwarves, elves, fairies, and all other creatures of the world. During that time, Aladia, the world, had never had an evil creature prowl its lands. The people of Aladia lived happy lives together, until one day. The Great Mage of Darkness Safforos appeared before Aladia and all its people. He created new creatures, ones that killed with intent, and often succeded. Elves secreted their villages from others with no known magic. The dwarves kept to themselves in small bustling villages they often lived with dragons for a safety. Fairies used their magic to hide and live in and among the trees never showing their face. Humans, they were the most unprotected race. They lived in castles and large villages always surrounded by thick firm stone walls. Animals of both day and night slowly became extinct, they learned and became cautious and weary. Lastly, there were dragons. They easily lived where they pleased, often choosing to protect the other races. Dragons became the last hope of many, and Safforos would not stand for it. He sent legions upon legions of his creations against the villages protected by dragons. The dragons grouped up, moving to help the kindred and they prevailed of The Dark Mage Safforos. Then the worst fears of all the races in all of Aladia came true. A dragon assaulted a village leaving no survivors. Stories began and rumors spread. Dragons were the only ones who new truth. Safforos had created his own ruthless dragon and ordered it to attack. A new battle had begun, The Dragon Wars. For centuries dragons fought one another as Safforos created many. Rumors flew over the world of how Safforos had gained everlasting life. Over time though, true dragons evolved and began to use the magic hidden inside themselves to live in a human body. This is how the Great Dark Mage Safforos died. Few knew of how it happened, and I, one of the few who knew, am going to tell you the truth. Safforos had not gained everlasting life. He took on the most able bodied apprentice and used his body. Now he had chosen another body, only he did not chose the correct one. He chose one of Aculen blood, the most feared race of all Aladia. Also a race of people whose magic was too great for their own good. Safforos’ apprentice overtook him and killed him, how was unknown. The Aculen that had killed Safforos was named Cain, he claimed to befriend dragons and said the truth of how he killed Safforos. With dragon blood. He spoke of how he was a true dargon slayer with pride. So his legend went on and spread throughout Aladia, but not as he had hope. His actions made the world fear the Aculen and dragons more than ever. The Aculen used their ultimate magic to hide themselves leaving the world one enemy. So a new battle had begun, the world against dragons. Battles raged and more dragons than ever were killed. Now that they were at the last of their race, dragons have taken the form of humans. They became the evil Safforos had created, and they destroyed villages and killed the people they once cared for.

The quiet and few fights dragons and the world had slowly decreased. Until a new mage appeared. The ancestor of Cain, The Dragon Killer. Now a whole new battle would begin. One of which would include blood, tears, happiness, friendship, and love…

Story News: I;m currently rewriting chapter one of The Blood of the Last Dragon. Its going to have a new name and everything. So I haven't done anything in forever, sorry.
