Author has written 5 stories for Fantasy, and Life. Well, here I am, uh, not much to say. I mean, obviously the reason I'm here is to write stories. I'm a college student, social work major, I ride/drive horses, and I'm pretty much your average eighteen year old. If I think of anything else to say I'll make sure to do so. One thing, if you read my story, please be so kind as to leave a review. It doesn't have to be long (although long reviews are much appreciated) just enough so I know people are actually reading (and liking) my stuff. Thanks! Full Summaries and poetry notes: Spotted Horse: The Banu Tai and the spotted horses used to live together as brothers, but then Rajmah forced the Banu Tai to help him tame the horses. When an old Banu Tai predicted that the spotted horses would bring about the end of his reign as tribeleader, he ordered them all destroyed. Some of the mares were let loose, and the spotted horse blood was mixed with Rajmah's horses. He kills a horse whenever it's born with spots. Years later Uri and Layla are born the two children of Rajmah's horsemaster, but they have Banu Tai blood in them, and they are faced with the struggle to fulfill the legend and their own private dreams. I'm really having fun experimenting with this story and trying to make it as different as possible. I think the whole flavor is different from your typical fantasy story because it doesn't have magic, dragons, swords, wars, or kings in it, and the setting has a middle eastern feel about it. There are a lot of foreign words in it (made up) that I don't just spell out the definition of in order to make the story seem more real and to make the reader think. Poems: So basically all my poems are just me writing; it's pretty much a creative outlet for me when I have writer's block. I'm not really sure what they mean or what I'm trying to say; I'm mostly just matching up words together. That being said, I would love to hear what you think or what you get from them, so please review and let me know, even if you just say "I loved this line..." Feedback is always welcome and very much appreciated. | |||||||
