Welcome to Writers Abound

What is Writers Abound?
A group of writers that have come together to simply make a collection of stories. It's hard enough trying to find a story in the large database that won't be a waste of time. This will not only make it a little bit easier for you, but it will be more fun. We're not looking for a rave of reviews.

Why, you ask?
Well, we are serious about our writing. There are too many stories on FictionPress that are overlooked for being boring, or not worth the time... Someone will find it worthy.

Want to be a Writers Abound member?

Though there are few a qualifications to become one, it's not like you're being interviewed for a job.

1) You must have a FictonPress account. Duh!!

2) Though your writing doesn't have to be perfect, a reflection of depth, development, and good enough grammar must be shown within the story.

3) You must show that you don't have a propensity of abadoning your stories to the FictionPress lagoon. Your story must be at least 10K of words.

4) Most importantly, if you do have a story that has a "cliche" plot, the story's characters must not follow that line. Which means no predictability. We don't want to see a re-run of The Hills or Gossip Girl in your story.

5) And if you're still interested, you can send an email to this link with a copy of your page (that way we don't have to search for it), and the story you have considered. It may take a few days to a week to reply, but you'll get a response.

6) Or we'll simply send you an e-mail asking you to join us.
