~I lived in a fantasy world nearly half of my short life, although very little of it was truly original.

~I only look mature. (Because you can't judge a book by its cover.) My real maturity level is about that of a four year old.

The Butcher, the Baker, and the Candlestick Maker

As Christians, Diana's family was supposed to be safe from the Nazis. Her family was supposed to be safe. But somehow, she and her family end up on the streets of a dismal mini-camp in the middle of Berlin. There are only three people she really recognizes, and grows to like. The young butcher who was drafted into the Nazi party at the beginning of the War, who now watches over their camp. The jolly baker who always seems to give them extra bread for little Ben. The crotchety candlestick maker who doesn't much like anyone but Ben. Having to survive WWII is not what she expected. -Historical/Romance-T- (Note: This would be slightly AU from what really happened in WWII, considering I highly doubt there were ever mini camps in the middle of important cities.)
