Author has written 82 stories for Song, Fantasy, Fantasy, Romance, Love, Life, School, Nature, and Family. What is this place coming to? Seriously. I feel like when I read a SONG, it's like a poem, a whole bunch of disjointed lines squished into one long verse, with no discernable chorus or anything. It really bothers me. I mean, songs are meant to be SUNG, and if it's not being sung, it's just a poem. I've been reading a bunch of stuff that would be an awesome poem. Awesome. But it shouldn't in with the songs, ya know? I look at my songs, and I work hard at them. They have a tune, and a beat. They have verses, and a chorus, and a bridge, or some kind of variation on that. I mean, it's OK to have a song that really doesn't have a discernable chorus. However, I find it hard to believe that it just rambles on, without particular tune repetitions which would mean cadence repeats (if you don't know the meaning of the word cadence, I suggest you look it up). I don't enjoy reading poetry when I expect to be reading songs. I try to keep up with most songs, review as much as I can, read a lot, but hey! This is just going down the tube. I KNOW there are real songwriters out there who want an honest opinion on their SONGS, and are just as willing to GIVE opinions. I'm not going to stick a note about reviews in here, but - songs. Songs, people. If I wanted to read poetry, it's only a click away. And hey, sometimes I do. But sometimes, I don't. I want to read SONGS. And now, for something completely different, I'm a 15-year-old in my sophomore year of high school, my "name" is Princess Cora Windover (Princess Cora for songitry, Cora Windover for poetry). I write a lot of songs and not many are good, I'm taken =^..^=... Review please! Even though you might not want to, even if the songs sucks, just drop me a note just saying that you READ the song will make a difference to me. That's why I review other people's whenever I read them - just saying, hi your song wasn't the best but keep on writing cuz you'll get better and there's this one part that you might want to look at the rhythm - and so on. Or just a little, Good song. That's all. It would be nice if you would write a bit more, but... hey. If you took the time out to read the song, at least let me know.
