I'm Alanna... but I prefer to go by Lanna or Ally.
I'm 19, and I love to read and write. (I write because it's fun, not because I'm necessarily good at it - I'm not delusional enough to think that maybe my writing could get published, however awesome that would be, it's about as likely as Tom Cruise giving up Scientology, becoming normal and not remotely creepy and growing 5 inches taller)
That is all you need to know for now about me.
Writing...
My problem is I have too many ideas, I come up with really long detailed plot outlines and then as I start writing the story I'll get new ideas for a completely different story - so right now I have over 20 started stories/plot outlines (that are all completely different with a wide range of genres) but they're all unfinished. I'm trying to focus on one in particular right now and get it finished, when I do that and I'm happy with it I will post it on here.
Five Minutes Till Midnight:
So I've added the Prologue that I wrote ages ago, I don't really like it - I wrote it really quickly and it's written in the first person POV, which -when I write it at least- ends up dull and boring because I get caught up in writing actions. I may rewrite it in third person later. I have a really long detailed plot outline for the story though (and if I like it enough - I have rough outlines for 2 sequels). The summary of the story sucks - I'm the kind of person that likes long descriptions of things so summaries are not my strong point.
Breathe Out:
This is probably the story idea I have that I like best... and I have the pretty much the whole story planned out already. I've only posted the Prologue so far, and the Prologue is different from the rest of the story - the Prologue and Epilogue will both be written in first person POV while the rest of the story will be in third.
When It Rains:
I'm really not happy with the Prologue or first chapter of that but I was feeling sad one day and wanted to write something sad (although the story isn't all sad, it has it's funny moments, cute moments and a bittersweet happy ending I've just not gotten to that bit yet). The summary sucks but basically it's a love story, a friendship story, a ghost story and a story that deals with suicide... all rolled into one.
Poems:
I may add some at some point... and they will probably suck. I always get caught up in the whole rhyming thing and they sound really cheesy.
