Author has written 16 stories for Love, Young Adult, Life, Humor, General, and General. Abbey Mae~ I prefer to write original stories, but I also have a Fanfiction account. I have a deviantART as well, if you're really bored and wanna look at my stuff. Writing is my passion. I've been writing as long as I can remember, whether it was songs, poems, or stories. My first try at a novel was in second grade about a Pikachu going on adventures to save a Pichu. I have a soft spot for Harry Potter. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was the first actual novel I read ("actual" meaning not Junie B. Jones). I deeply admire J.K Rowling. She is a great writer. I'm not much of a fan of the "new J.K Rowling" however. Stephenie Meyer is really bad at portraying her characters correctly, and the plot itself is ridiculous and full of holes. I get that some books are more about the themes than the plot itself (I've read some great books with ridiculous scenarios), but this book has no themes or social commentary, so... I really hope it's just some sort of psychology experiment or mass IQ test on her part. I want to be a writer someday, or perhaps an editor or journalist. I would really appreciate reviews. | |||||||
