My Words

To be honest, I'm not a very talented writer - or at least through my eyes. I write, sketch, take photos, sing and play music to express my feelings. In my words, I believe that literature is basically the art of words. My friends believe that I am quite an artist and they would support me if I were to ever draw a comic/manga. Although I would love to do something like that, I don't have the time to draw and ink my work. I am not a good actress, even though I take drama class and I never look forward to them. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, especially going into those Japanese sticker photo booths (they can be annoying) and karaoke (I don't believe I'm a good singer). I listen to Bullet for My Valentine, Anberlin, Smile Empty Soul, Flyleaf, The Birthday Massacre, Nightwish, Armor for Sleep, Children of Bodom... basically rock and metal. I also listen to Beethoven, Mozart... classical (because I used to love listening to classical music). I live in Australia, near Sydney but I am of Asian descent.

Inspiration

Most of my inspiration comes from song lyrics and my own experiences but I also get inspiration from what I read. I adore Oscar Wilde's works and I love "Alice in Wonderland". The band that gives me the most inspiration has to be Anberlin. Their lyrics are just inspiring and their music is so good (such a vague word). I also admire Kaori Yuki's and Arina Tanemura's work. Kaori Yuki writes such twisted and distorted storylines and has a magnificent artist's hand. Arina Tanemura's stories get stuck in your head and her art is spectacular.
