Favorite books:

Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy, no contest. I recomend it to anyone who lvoes a good plot line, real characters, who grow, learn and change, and an equally real world to accompany it.

For those of you who enjoy rather morbid humor, there is an online comic by the name of LFG (Looking For Group) with some of the most delightful (cough) characters ever created. Richard forever!
