Hi :)

This is for any curious people who happen to come across this profile:

I'm a school student, and hope to study english at uni. In my very limited free time, I like portrait drawing and listening to music, particularly Snow Patrol. I also enjoy cycling and running, and am interested in languages. I tend to be busy with studying or work most of the time, but I don't sleep much, so during the many nights when it's too late to do anything else, I often resort to writing, and that's why I'm here. I am also aware that this description makes me sound quite geeky, and that's probably true, to be honest.

Feel free to have a read if you're bored :)

Song lyrics are lovely. Here's a few of my favourites:

"Now, Cinderella, don't you go to sleep. It's such a bitter form of refuge. Don't you know the Kingdom's under siege, and everybody needs you?" - The Killers, A Dustland Fairytale

"Juliet, when we made love, you used to cry. I said 'I love you like the stars above, I love you till I die'; and there's a place for us, you know the movie song. When you gonna realise, it was just that the time was wrong, Juliet?"- Dire Straits, Romeo and Juliet

"The sea between us only amplifies the sound waves. Every hum and echo and crash meets my cave"- Snow Patrol, If There's a Rocket, Tie Me To It

"And I'm shaken, then I'm still. When your eyes meet mine, I lose simple skills, like to tell you all I want, is now"- Snow Patrol, Set Down Your Glass

"Tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet? Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day, and head back towards the Milky Way?"- Train, Drops of Jupiter

"Running, both legs tied together, arms in the air. Care for you, I will"- Snow Patrol, Fifteen Minutes Old

"And the piano's this melacholy soundtrack to her smile"- The Airborne Toxic Event, Sometime Around Midnight

"Then you walk under the streetlight, and you're too drunk to notice that everyone is staring at you. You don't care what you look like- the world is falling around you"- The Airborne Toxic Event, Sometime Around Midnight
