Hi.

Thanks for visiting my profile. Below are a list of my updates, and if you scroll down you can learn a few things about me. Also, my username for fanfiction is Destiny J. Adams. Feel free to look me up!

Updates:

1.29.09: I'm working on a story I will entitle, Washington's Aftermath. I'm am hoping to at least get the first chapter up today. Feel free to read it!

The following paragraphs describe some characters I am writing about on FanFiction.

Destiny Hardy:

Destiny 'Desi' Hardy (and/or Adams) is a character that I have created. After being kidnapped shortly after her family, she is found in the woods with amnesia by Fenton Hardy. She recovered from her amnesia overnight and is forced to adapt to a new place, new people, and new life. Will she be able to do it? Will she ever find her family and bring the kidnapper to justice? If you follow Desi around on her numerous adventures, you will find out that she has a lot of secrets, guilt and pain in her life.

Amethyst Benson:

Amethyst 'Misti' Benson is my second Character. She has not been around for as long as Desi has and she still has a lot of maturing to do. After fleeing Wyoming when her parents got killed in a raid, she is thrown in with the Cartwrights because of an accident. Will she make the right decision and return to where she belongs?

Thank You!

Thank you to Betty H. for letting me use her computer. Desi and Misti would never succeed without you! I totally appreciate it! Thank you to Jennie J. for teaching me how to come up with good story plots, for telling me that I could never think to much on Desi and Misti, and for just being there to encourage me. I love both of you so much! Also a big thank you to my brother, Tyler N. Thanks for your moral support! I could never tell you how much it means to me. And thank you to the rest of my family for just being there to yell at me, to steal my dice, to enter my room without permission, and for giving me a lot of other reasons to yell at you. Love you all!

And thank you to all the people who have taken time to review my stories and tell me what you think. Thank you to those who criticize my work and tell me when I didn't do enough research or if I wrote something that was unrealistic. I appreciate you guys because I know that their are some places that I need help. Sometimes I think that I need help in all places, but I get over it. Anyway, thank you soo much. Believe or not, you help out a lot!

Ideas:

I have a few ideas for later stories, although I don't have anything set and stone yet.

Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew:

Before I say anything further about the Hardys, there is one thing you have to know. I do not read the case-files of the Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew. I don't like the case-files. Everything I write for the Hardys and Nancy Drew is based on the blue backs and yellow backs.

1. Hardy Helpers. Remember all the little kids that help the Hardys? Why don't write stories about their futures? Maybe having them come to Frank and Joe with a case? Message me and tell me what you think.

Narnia:

2. This one I have put some thought into it. What if their were some prophecies involving a High Queen of Narnia. Sounds kinda cheesy, but if its written well...The question is, do I write well?

O'Malley Series:

Since the O'Malley series is my favorite, why not add Desi to their adventures? You know, have Markus call Desi for help on a case (which I haven't decided the details yet) and something goes wrong, like really wrong?

About Me:

Let me see... Something about me, huh? Umm, My name is Valarie Needham and I live in Pembina North Dakota. I have moved 12 times in 13 years, which is really sad by the way. I love to read and if you continue reading you will get a list of my favorite authors, series, and five favorite books. I love to write especially about MacGyver and Bonanza. I love to do puzzles whenever I can. I also love to Rollerblade around school buses. Hey, it helps me think. Although I do learn not to think too hard if I prefer not to run into the buses. :) I am a Christian. God is the most important thing in my life and if He isn't, there is something that needs to change. I love living in Pembina. Its totally amazing. I love my church and the Johnsons. I can safely say that because even in Pembina there are like 20 different Johnson families. Yeah, the Johnsons are amazing! My favorite word is insane. Don't ask me why. I disown the world on a regular basis because I'm just that strange. I always wear a bandana and not only drive my brothers up the wall, I also drive my two best friends insane who happen to be guys. I have no interest in dating of any kind. In that sense I have no interest in guys at all. Anything else... Nope, I think that covers it. :)

My favorite TV shows are MacGyver, Bonanza, and Hogan's Heroes. There would probably be more except that I don't have a TV.

My favorite authors are: Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti, Lauraine Snelling, Jennie Johnson, Gilbert Morris, Michael Phillips, Tracie Peterson, Wayne Thomas Batson, Lawana Blackwell, and Linda Nichols.

My favorite series are: The Wakefield Dynasty (Gilbert Morris) The Chronicles of Narnia (C.S. Lewis), The Heirs of Montana (Tracie Peterson), The Hardy Boys (Franklin W. Dixon), The Circle Trilogy (Ted Dekker), Dakotah Treasures (Lauraine Snelling), The Red River of the North (Lauraine Snelling), Bonanza (Stephan Calder), The Shenandoah Sisters (Michael Phillips), The O'Malley Chronicles (Dee Henderson), andThe Carolina Cousins (Michael Phillips).

My five favorite books are:

1) The Isle of Swords (Wayne Thomas Batson)

2) Searching for Eden (Linda Nichols)

3) The Oath (Frank Peretti)

4) The Negotiator (Dee Henderson)

5) The Sword of Truth (Gilbert Morris)

My five favorite fanfictions are:

1) Riding on Faith (southplains)

2) Glory (southplains)

3) The Embers of the Day (Morgan's Crest)

4) Grant (save changes to normal)

5) Where's MacGyver? (Lothithil)

I am a Christian. You can see what I believe below.

Personal Beliefs:

I believe that Jesus Christ left his Heavenly glory to come to earth as a baby. I believe he was rejected and put to death by the very ones he came to save. I believe that he choose to die because of his love for us. I believe he came back from the dead three days after he died. I believe he loves each one of us, and wishes for us to have a personal relationship with Him. Entering in such a relationship does not mean that life will randomly become easy because you become a Christian. In fact, its probably harder, much worth it. A relationship with Jesus Christ is the best thing you can do with your life!

Other:

You will not find any profanity, homosexuality, lesbian, and/or sexual content in my stories. With one exception. I do not believe that talking about sex is wrong, especially if you are married. I have been raised that sex is good, as long as it is performed in married. My characters may discuss sex, but that is as far as it will go.

Copy and Pastes, (for whenever I find one I like):

I have a one-time gift. A beautiful gift that many people are ridiculed for in this day and age. A precious gift that many people throw away. It's called "virginity", and I plan to not waste it on some jerk of a boyfriend who's just gonna dump me later. I choose to be faithful to my future husband, the man who will love me for the rest of my life, and to wait for the wedding day!! If you have chosen to save your one-time gift and are PROUD of your purity, paste this into your profile and add your name to the list: Dearheart, Destiny J. Adams

If you love Jesus with all your heart, copy and paste this onto your profile.

If you are weird, insane, crazy, odd, not-normal, a freak of nature, psychotic, random or anything similar, copy this into your profile.

Quotes:

If you attack one Cartwright, be rest assured that you will have three Cartwrights on your back. But if you attack two, you'll have four. -Myself.

A diary is for people who can't come up with a more intelligent sounding word. A journal is for people who can.-Myself.

God is my refuge, in Him will I put my trust.-Taken from the Psalms.
