Author has written 10 stories for Young Adult, Fantasy, Supernatural, General, Sci-Fi, and Romance. My avatar: Mike Shinoda of Linkin park. As of this moment, (10am, 27th August 2009) I have an A grade GCSE in English. Go me! I've got qualifications now. Can you blame me for bragging? Hi. I love descriptive writing and thought I'd post some stories on here, maybe as an incentive to actually finish them. I started out with a Fanfic account. Please check out my fanfics over there at http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1523455/ (Which I'm also adding favourite quotes to, because I'm that bored.) As of September 2008 my ultimate favourite book is now Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I love Holden. I have now bought almost everything Salinger had ever written. Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters, and Nine Stories are also incredibly amazing. (Sorry for the bold, but I was rather enjoying myself. I'm also hinting rather dramatically at you. Read them. If you haven't already) And I'm a huge fan of Terry Pratchett. I love most Fantasy based books, but he is a genius. I adore and worship the Discworld series. The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the galaxy 'trilogy', and The long dark tea-time of the soul by Douglas Adams are also fantastically weird and hilarious science fic adventures. I have also collected the Harry Potter series, of course, The Maximum ride series, and The Noughts and Crosses series - R.I.P Jude McGregor. The start of the 'Tales of the Otori' series by Lian Hearn, 'Across the Nightingale Floor' is also turning out to be a pretty spectacular read. The reason I'm name dropping all these books is, of course, because I heartily recommend every single one of them. Please read them, if only to make your life a little more complete. And I think I'm in love with the Moleskin notebook. I got given one for my birthday, and I love those little books, but they're so beautiful, I can't spoil it. All the pages are still blank because I can't force myself to ruin them with my random scribblings. Does anyone else have that problem? I've changed the Category of stories 'Mercy', 'Born again Sinner' to Supernatural, and 'Kid' to Young adult because I think it suits them better. Other than that they're the same. Word Count 500-1,000 words - Flash story Woo! I hit Novel status! Over 40,000 words people! 'Edit Mode' is officially over, and I'm never embarking on that again; what a nightmare. 'Born Again Sinner' and 'Kid' are up to scratch (as much as I could be bothered anyway). Mostly I sorted out a bit of twisted plot, random hints, and a few spelling errors. If anyone has any problems other than that, suggest a Beta, because like I said, never again. Shudder It took ages. I guess I'm just not an editor. Anyway, back to updating. Yay!
