About me:

My name is Karen, generally go by Kay or KB.
I work full time and go to school full time.
I am applying to the nursing program at our local College, and minoring in English (for obvious reasons).
I have an older sister, Lauren, who shares my love for reading & writing, and also have two younger (but taller) brothers.
I love to dance.

My favorite movies range from the likes of Pretty Woman, Mean Girls, The Covenant and Fracture.
My favorite books are any written by Lisa Jackson, Erica Spindler, and James Patterson. But I also love the occasional Nora Roberts (JD Robb). But I've found a new obsession in the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.
My favorite tv shows are Gossip Girl, 90210, Law & Order: SVU, CSI, Criminal Minds, 24 and Survivor. (I also love American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, and America's Best Dance Crew).
My favorite music is a list that could go on forever. I love classic rock mostly, but I will always be a fan of Pop music, just because it's easy to dance to. Huge Beatles fan, Madonna, ACDC, Nickelback, Papa Roach, Staind, Seether, Hinder, Buckcherry, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw... I could go on forever.

Some random facts:

I live in Florida.
I'm married, and have been for two years.
I used to rollerblade competitively.
In high school I was on the soccer team, cheerleading squad, dance team, and in gymnastics.
I love yoga.
Writing = Life, I don't go a day without writing, or planning to write something.
I want to have three kids.
I write more when I'm listening to music, it inspires me.
Jonas Brothers is on my playlist. (GASP, I know)
So is Miley Cyrus.

Untitled Collaboration w/Lauren: My sister and I are in the mist of planning a book/series of books about two sisters (GASP, shocker there, right?). The first book is going to be about them coming together under certain circumstances. Romance, Drama & a little bit of Humor.

Untitled Vampire Story: I'm also outlining a story based on vampires. I love Anne Rice and she's one of my favorite authors. I always wanted to dabble in this subject, and I've written a few short pieces, but never anything worth printing. Now that I've read the Twilight Series my fire has been fueled.
