All About The Girl:

A simple person with a boring life that hails from one of the smallest countries in da world, Singapore, who loves to think of herself living somewhere else. Hence, she picked up writing as a hobby, to vent out her imaginations into words. Is 21 years old this year (2009), and hopes time will freeze at that moment but of course, is impossible.

She is wholly into movies, especially thrillers (psychological, etc), action and adventures, and so one day hopes to write stories of such genres. A huge fan of the fantastic mystery/crime fic writer, John Connolly (go read his books!!), the one that inspired her to try writing. Also a huge fan of the Harry Potter books (can't live without them).

Only and really only, listens to English music, read English books, watch English shows/movies. In other words, is heavily influenced by Western culture even though she's an Asian girl whose mother tongue is Mandarin (and rather lousy at that too), and also able to converse in what is usually known as Singlish (Singaporean English). Nobody will understand it unless you're a natural-born Singaporean.

Last but not least, she is a huge fan of slash/yaoi/shounei-ai/whatever else is known as. So don't expect heterosexual fics from her, though she's straight herself. Discovered the yaoi-fangirl in her some 3 years ago when she came across the Japanese anime, Gravitation (and now has the full collection of the series' manga, in Chinese of course. DAMN HAPPY!!), and her love for man-on-man love just keeps growing till today. Is an active member of the wonderful yaoi website, Aarinfantasy.com (go join!! the members are just wonderful as well). Always visits/stalks it everyday. For her, it is the best thing Internet has offered her.

>> 06-09-2009: Yes, The Girl is still alive. Alright, prior to what she said in the A/N found in the last update to LS&M, she decided not to post her fantasy story because...she got a huge major block for it. Or to put it bluntly, she lost interest in it because she's tired of writing a too dark plot and doesn't feel her efforts are appreciated (at least over at the website where she posted said story). She's written 11 chappys, had posted them over at Aarinfantasy.com, her readers over there are wondering when she'll be updating but sadly she has no idea when she'll pick it up again. So in the end she'll rather not post it and leave the readers here at FP.com hanging like she did over at the website (Anyone from there? squirms in fear).

BUT!! The Girl decided to work on another new story!! Not related to LS&M though (she's still figuring out Dale's story. Not forgotten it yet.) This time, she's aiming to write a light-hearted, sorta comedy story. Don't-have-to-think-too-much-and-relaxing story, in other words. As soon as she's got the plot and characters figured out, she'll post it here. Hope you guys will anticipate it!

First chapter of her new story is two-third done. Now she's wondering if she should post it up? Perhaps she might, just to see if there're any readers interested and thus see if it's worthwhile to continue the story... and her love for writing...
