I have many nicknames that I go by and Shadypalmtree is one of them. Unlike everyone else on this site who wrote at a young age, writing has never interested me before because I didn't think I was capable of writing a decent novel, but somehow I decided to write one anyways out of fun when I was in high school. I wrote tidbits of A Ray of Sunshine for two years before I actually decided to put it up on the internet because I was paranoid someone might steal my work. I'm still paranoid to this day and I'm hoping that my readers will respect me enough to read it for their enjoyment other than shamefully stealing it for money. I trust you guys enough to just read it on the screen then moving your mousepad over my written words and copying it from fictionpress. I haven't had a problem with plagiarism yet so I'm hoping it will remain that way. As for my sudden hobby of writing, I've been working on a few ideas that will hopefully make it's way to fictionpress soon =)

-I've learned as a writer on FP that there will be people who will either like or hate your story. I've grown to accept the fact that not everyone will like mine and I'm ok with that.

-Love photography, writing & reading. I haven't been reading as much as I'd like to so hopefully that'll change soon.

-I have an obsession with London and everything British. I even have a very convincing british accent and I could fool everyone with it. I'm pretty sure I can because I've done if before and the person really thought I was from London. My friend and I had a great laugh from that, it was sheer genius.

-When I'm set on doing a project, I make sure I finish it. That's why there's a lot of early updates and long chapters on A Ray of Sunshine. However, my grammatical errors result in these early updates =)

My favorite authors: Jane Austen, George Orwell, Ted Dekker, etc

My favorite books are: Pride and Prejudice, Showdown, Pygmalion, The Count of Monte Cristo(I love reading long books, ha how ironic), and etc. I'm not fond of fantasy books, but I do love Harry Potter. How can anybody resist really? I told you I'm obsessed with all things British.

New Stories Coming Soon: ehh techincally writing sequel, don't have time for the many stories that I've started writing. They are on hold because I can't multi-task like everyone else.

I know that some of this actors or actresses don't meet the description in my story, but I wanted to give you guys a clear visual for reading purposes. I also believe that its better to imagine the character by the description than from looking at a picture of an actor I picked. If you would like to keep your imagined looks of my characters, than you don't have to go on my blog. But for all of you who do like visuals, then check it out!
