Hey everyone! My name is Danielle, but I go by the pen name Dani Brown. I'm an aspiring writer who mainly focuses most of my time writing paranormal and contemporary romance stories. Right now I'm working on several different projects, one being my brain child that's been taking up the majority of my free time. And the sad thing is, I still don't have a name for the story (though I have one for the whole storyline/world...wierd, huh?)

I'm in my late twenties, and I'm a mechanic by trade ( specialize on planes), but I'm also an freelance graphic artist and aspiring chef on top of everything, and just somehow make time to do it all and then some. I currently live in the US, but I'm bout to move overseas for business for the time being, so it should be fun, and hopefully inspire some more things in me. Oh, did I mention I'm a big reader? Books litter my apartment and my car it's so bad.

So, I guess I can put what inspired me to write...and in all reality, I don't know what did. I remember being like in second grade, and I was drawing some lil picture while I was watching tv (it was something dealing with Egypt, that's all I remember), and I decided to write a lil' story with it on the back of the paper. Then somehow, I do the same thing after I watched the movie Legend...and from that point on, I would always catch myself doing these lil stories until it kinda culminated when I was in junior high. Working on a class project that interested me (take an old fairy tale and put a modern twist on it), and I decided to do one of my own.

It was a nice story. Like 250pgs hand-written nice story...man, that was huge.

Now here I am again, at another turning point. A few years back I just started jotting down all the notes to a ton of my stories, and now I'm getting them out of my head in some silly attempt to think easier (lol, just kidding). So sit back, and enjoy the show I guess :)

Update 21 July 2011: I now have a Facebook page for my writing! Look for Dani Brown under authors, and be sure to like it. I'll be able to post up there a hell of a lot more frequently, and maybe even provide snippets into upcoming chapters. Score!
