'Ello! Salut! Sholem aleykhem! My name is Kathleen, although you might know me by something different, if you know me by somewhere else. Like Turtle, pour exemple. I mostly write historical fantasy, historical fiction, science fiction, and occasionally realistic fiction. Lemme see... Um. I have curly dark hair, blue toenails, and that's all I'll tell you about my looks, since I'm paranoid. Speaking of which, my pen name is honestly a pen name , not my own. What else...I go to high school, and am currently taking some very dull subjects, with the exception of course, of a few classes, and quite a few fantastic teachers who liven up those classes. =) I miss my Creative Writing class, through. That was an awesome class. My teacher gave us such interesting prompts, and actually allowed me to write about lesbian love! ( She asked us at the beginning if there was anything about us she should know...so I wrote her a note about being a lesbian, (aren't I brave? And stupidly reckless sometimes...) and I asked her to allow me to write about girlxgirl stuff, and...viola! And I point out this amazing qoute from someone I can't remember: If you want something, getting it can be as simple as asking for it.) I strongly prefer writing novels over short stories, so you may not see too many pieces from me, because I don't know how I feel about posting full novels on a website. Although, I am working on a series of short stories called 'A Fairy in Brooklyn' that I might post. What else to say? I'm Jewish, I love turtles, the smell of a new book, my friends, skirts, (long skirts on me, short skirts on others ;) sandals, the beach, the Red Sox, Boston, English, and New York accents, although really I love them all... And oddly enough, I think I'm done! No, wait, I'm not. Also, if you've read 'A Clockwork Orange' let me know. I read it a week or so ago, and it's one of those books (for me, anyway) where you just have to discuss it...but the only people I know who've already read it, read it thirty years ago and can't remember much. Same goes for 'The Book of Fred' by Abby Bardi, 'Drowning Anna' by Sue Mayfield, and that might be it for now... Goodbye! Au revoir! A gutn tog! | |||||||
