Technically three poems in one, something I was trying for the first time. FP won't let me set it up like it is in Word. So - all together, and every other word. Not brilliant not at all but a practice in form. Tell me what you think.

I saw a luna moth alive, for the first time in my life, yesterday - and only I did, because I was the one awake at dawn. Here's a poem for it... I may rewrite this and make it longer, and more about the moth. It was beautiful.

When you don't have anything to say - write a lame-but-funny acrostic. It's a gimmick. Everybody knows that gimmicks are cute. I like that word right now. Gimmick, gimmick, gimmick... I'm going to go curl up in a dark hole and die.
Okay... so a friend told me to try Googling my name with assorted verbs, i.e. " Name does/eats/etc.". I used a childhood nickname - Gertrude. This is the rather disturbing poetic product thus far, after the results festered in my mind for a while...

A poem in chapters, put together after a kiirtan meditation. The mantra "Baba nam kevelam" - translates as "My most Beloved is the only One" says a kiirtan website; also "love is all there is", etc.: IN PROGRESS, please tell me if it makes any sense...
