Author has written 6 stories for Song, Love, and Historical. About me: So, if you’re reading this, then you’ve either read one of my stories; I reviewed one of yours, or you met me on a forum. If it’s the first, then I would like to thank you for being interested enough in my work to check out my profile. If it’s the second, my hat’s off to you! You obviously wrote an amazing fic that I enjoyed! And if it’s the third, thanks for putting up with my rambling long enough to get to know me. Now, to get to the stuff that no one really cares about, but everyone puts on their profiles anyway. I’m just your average American teenager- busy, busy, busy… That word describes me best of all. Music is my passion. I take vocal lessons and perform in my school musicals, (2008- The Pirates of Penzance; 2009- Disney’s Aladdin; 2010- Hello, Dolly!) play the piano, clarinet, mellophone (the marching version of the French Horn), and string bass; am in my school’s award-winning Symphonic Chorale and marching band; and take part in the concert band. This year’s marching band show is titled ‘The Bird is the Word,’ and the set list includes the jazz classic ‘Birdland,’ the Beatles’ song ‘Blackbird,’ and Igor Stravinsky’s ‘Firebird.’ This year’s musical will be Maury Yeston’s Titanic, and I found out on Sept. 8 that I will be playing the part of Eleanor Widener. I'm really excited because it's my first role with speaking lines :) Now, to my favorite things. I’ll be honest: I love to read this section of other people’s profiles. Favorite color: navy blue Favorite song: “The Music of the Night” from The Phantom of the Opera Favorite musical: The Phantom of the Opera Favorite movie: Rupert Julian’s The Phantom of the Opera (1925) Favorite book: A three-way tie between Gaston Leroux’s The Phantom of the Opera, Cornelia Funke’s The Thief Lord, and J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter Saga. Favorite author: Victor Hugo Favorite actor: Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, and Alan Rickman Favorite actress: Helena Bonham-Carter and Keira Knightley Favorite singer: I am a Little Monster :) My philosophy has always been to support other writers and offer helpful advice. I detest flaming, and I urge you not to do it. It’s hurtful and unnecessary. Constructive criticism, however, is adored! I’m a perfectionist, and love it when people point out issues in my writing. I tend to forget previous plot-points and end up with plot holes the size of Texas. So if you notice anything wrong, I am begging you to click the review button and tell me. Now, I’m on nearly every website known to the internet, so it’s pretty easy to get in touch with me. However, don’t ask me for my Facebook. It’s a personal one, and I will only add you if: a) we’re writing something together; b) I talk to you enough to feel comfortable adding you; or c) I know you on multiple sites. It’s a crazy world out there. Don’t take it personally- sometimes the internet isn’t as safe as we’d like. But I am also on the following sites, so drop me a line or friend me at any one of them: DeviantArt LiveJournal Phantoms-Opera PhantomOfTheOpera PokeCommunity My blog, A Wandering Mind YouTube You can also PM me here on FP, and if you'd like my email address, you just have to ask:) I love talking to friends I meet here (and gosh, are there a lot of them!) So, thanks for reading this through, and thanks for checking out my work. You guys are amazing and give me a reason to keep writing. God bless! Kathleen | |||||||
