Hi, my name is Kat. Yeah that's a nickname but full names aren't a good idea. I don't think people think of me as a writer, or someone who is musical, but I sorta am. I like writing songs. You know when you hear a quiet voice singing behind you and then you whip around to see what's happening, then some quiet girl looks up and blushes then looks down at a journal where she scribbles something down? Hi, that was me. I'm constantly making songs up, unfortunately it's usually in school and I have to write it down or else I'll forget it. My songs are about my emotions, about me, about people like the guy who won't notice me or my friends who I love so much and am so insanely jealous of. They're about fantasies that I've had, and I'm actually very picky about my songs. I hate it when songs have 'simple rhymes', that's when the rhyming words are see, and me. Or do, and you. That's just me, I love a lot of songs that do that but I hate it when I do that. So I'll use funny vocab words. You know, I really wish I knew how to play the guitar, and had a good voice. I'll have my 'oh wow! did my voice just sound like that?!' moments but nothing spectacular. And I play the clarinet, so I can't exactly sing and play that, plus when people play the clarinet they look very unnatractive, right? I have this fantasy that I write an amazing song, send it to Taylor Swift (who I love but I think our styles are similar) and it becomes the one song on her next album that she didn't write. It's silly, but it's fun to think about. So go ahead, read, makeup up your own tune to my lyrics, and don't be brutal.
