Author has written 8 stories for Romance, Haiku, Fantasy, General, Life, Essay, and Nature. About.the.girl.Behind.the.print.and.lyrics Well, I've moved on, certainly. You may have been redirected here from my old account... Good. Don't go back there - it's not a pretty sight. I'm me, essentially. What is me? I am music; I am poetry... Or at least, I try. The one thing I love most in this world is music. Seriously, I couldn't live without it. Singing is my real passion, but I do love playing piano, which I've been doing since I was about five or six years old. Clarinet, not so much, but Tenor Sax is really fun... and I want to learn how to play the cello. Broadway is... Well, Broadway, and I dream of going there... I've seen traveling productions of: Phantom of the Opera and Wicked (x2). Andrew Lloyd Webber is amazing, but nothing next to Stephen Schwartz. Can't compose to save my life, but... maybe someday. I've been writing for about two years, and am still working on finding a... I dunno, style? Niche? But... gettin' there. About.her.Works Judging Distances, (12.16.08, 1.21.09) - Kind of a rant at the world and society. It's a little extreme in it's message: No, I don't think everyone is like that, but a great number of people. Including myself of rare occasions when I catch myself. Softly Strumming His Guitar, (5.4.08, ed. 11.24.08) - Latest edit of this story, which was originally on my old account. Short story, almost fairytale, as it's been described, about two teenagers who, through their connection in music... yep, you guessed it, fall in love. And.her.Poetry So, my old account has a lot of... I guess more tragic poetry, but I've passed that phase. I mean, you're still gonna find a sad poem or two, but not to the extent of being almost emo. My work now has been more developed, rather than my first attempts at poetry. I've found my style, and I don't wrote poems for the sake of writing poems. Hurrah! You can find a lot more of my stuff on my old account, as mentioned above but I'm going to try and be a little more selective on here. A fresh start, you know? And.if.you're.curious Her favorites of her works include: Simplicity, and cracks in the sidewalk And.just.a.little.extra What she Likes: Music. Poetry. Jane Austen. D Flat Major. Storms. Dancing in the rain. Spaghetti. Mr. Darcy. Snow. Chocolate. Bells. Pillows. Leaves. Broadway. Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese. Bookstores. Dreaming. Mexican Hot Sauce. Black&White. Acting. Paint Chips. The Music of the Night. What she fears: Elevators. Spiders. Snakes. Heights. Family. Blood. Crowds. Deafness. Loneliness. May misfortune follow you all your life... and never catch up. Yours.Truly. ~Me P.S. Everything here that's on my old account as well has been reworked and edited. I've got a beta now too :) | |||||||
