Author has written 26 stories for Romance, Love, Essay, Humor, Life, Family, and Religion. Romance is my preferred genre, and I like to explore sub-genres in my works. I've written mystery, horror, drama, angst, comedy, etc. :) I try to make my stories unique and vary the settings, from segregated small towns to India, the Middle Ages, etc. I plan on putting more of my poetry on here, but I have written too many so I will only put up the best ones. I hope to fix up some of my older stories and post them here. My favorite stories/novels I've written are in this order: 1) Touch: This is one of the most intense love stories I've ever written, and one of the most racy Christian romances out there. I wanted to touch on a very difficult subject of spirituality, which is faith and doubt, something I don't see in a lot of perky Christian movies. I tried to make the emotions felt by the male lead as real, natural, and genuine as possible. 2) Scandal! in Honeyville: This was a fun one to write. I wanted to write a story that was funny, yet dramatic at the same time. I wanted to pick a subject that would reflect that as well: stereotypes. Some stereotypes you hear are so untrue and obnoxious that they're hilarious, and this story goes to extreme measures to show just how dumb and unrealistic stereotypes are. Honeyville is a town that relies on stereotyping people, and it is just an interesting view on the subject. I loved the inter-racial romance in this, too. I put in elements of "Romeo and Juliet" to give it that obsessive, exasperating, romantic feel. 3) Open Wounds: I had wanted to write something very suspenseful and different, and thus this was the result. It's a very eerie, thrilling story, and uncannily romantic as well. It'll give you a strange, uneasy feeling after you read it. I am currently working on my future novel "JENNA AND CHRISTIAN," an idea I came up with three years ago but never fully executed.
