My thoughts on Reviews and Critiques

I hear a lot about people getting all hot and heavy about getting 'bad' critique in the reviews they've asked for.

I mean, come on. If you get a review at ANY time than that means the reviewer has taken precious time out of their life to help you improve on your writing. Don't get pissed off, because that basically means you have only put stuff up for ego stroking. Or some other reason I'm not thinking of, but that's beside the point!

If you DO get pissed off than just give a simple 'Thanks for reviewing my work' PM' instead of starting a useless, albeit amusing I bet, little war.

I can understand getting mad, but starting something like that when the person only put their views and opinions down is...kind of useless. I mean, that's the way they think. Can you really change that so easily? I should think not. Or hope.
