Author has written 14 stories for Romance. Hello everybody! I absolutely adore writing just about as much as I adore reviews. So please review if you like my stories, if you hate my stories, or if you want to give me some constructive criticism. I am open to anything and will do my best to answer any questions and respond to any comments. Well, hum... a bit about moi? I am officially a sophomore in college, with the full intent of getting my AA in English - Writing. I want to learn four other languages (besides English, of course); I know some Spanish, know some French, I want to learn Russian, and after that, I'm not exactly sure. I have gotten a number of reviews telling me when a reviewer's birthday is. I would LOVE to know so I can dedicate a chapter of my story to you! Send me your birthday in a review and I will definitely do that! I love writing. I love it! I'm drawn to mysterious, dark, and even broken characters. They are usually the "bad" or "misunderstood" characters, but they are far more fascinating than the "good" guys. I would love to travel everywhere. My heart belongs to John Dillinger. I simply adore Alvin Karpis. I often wonder if the characters we create are real somewhere. I am lucky to have experienced the purest form of love there ever is. I also believe in love at first sight because I am lucky to have experienced that as well. And I've been in love with him for nine years now. There is no end in sight. If I ever get married, it is going to be at night, in the winter at Disneyland! I am never straightening my hair again for a boy. Inspiration can come randomly, but I'm drawn to broken characters and quirky people. I am inspired by the rather obvious; the rain, the smell AFTER the rain, overcast days, Disneyland, and music. I am pro-choice, fiercely support gay rights, and am, in latent terms, a "tree hugger." There are no such things as coincidences. Everything happens for a reason. My room expresses my deep devotion to certain people and reveals my inner-creativity, and is, besides Disneyland, the happiest place on earth. I am left handed. All of the heroines in my stories will be blonde with some form of green eyes. There are not enough stories with blonde heroines, in my very biased opinion. My favorite shows are Bones, NCIS, House, M.D., The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Simpsons, Family Guy, 24, Married... with Children, Reno!911 (Terry is amazing!), Law and Order: SVU and CI, The Office, The Soup I don't watch talk shows, but I'm addicted to The Wendy Williams Show. My favorite movies are The Pirates Trilogy (soon to add a fourth!), The Dark Knight, American Psycho, Observe and Report, Crank 1 and 2 Terminator: Salvation, Beetlejuice, Batman, Batman Returns, Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Legally Blonde, Tomb Raider, Charlie's Angels, 300, Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Get Smart, The Mummy Trilogy, 8 Mile, DISNEY movies, Anastasia When I was a child, I wanted to be Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Max from Dark Angel, Natalie from Charlie's Angels, and Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. I adore anything Angeline Jolie. R.I.P Heath Ledger I tend to fall more in love with dark fictional characters than real guys. My birthday is Nobember 30. I am a proud Sagittarius. I have a massive DVD collection including TV shows on DVD. I love the rain, the smell after the rain, and winter. I love the smell of Christmas trees in winter. I am addicted to butterscotch hard candies. No joke. They're like my crack. I love quirks. Which is why my heroines and heroes will have a number of them. I'm sorry, but I strongly dislike the Twilight series. They ruined vampires everywhere. I prefer my vampires to be dark, aggressive, and seductive, not virginal, vegetarian, and sparkling. And my werewolves to be MEN, not BOYS. Oh, and not attracted to newborn babies, thank you very much. In my humble opinion. I'm spiritual. Not so much religious. But I do believe in God, Jesus, Heaven, and Hell. I can't not dance when Lady Gaga comes on. After much deliberation, I have decided that I am going to marry John Cusack. I do want my own silver-haired fox. Christmas time is my favorite time of year. You can just feel the optimistic energy surround you. How can you not get swept up in it? I am obsessed with boots. Period. Finally, my stories. I do have to give a disclaimer here because otherwise, people may not exactly understand my format. Okay, I have thoroughly searched through livejournals for fic challenges and found many. However, when I took the ideas, I did not to write them for canons, but for my own original works. Currently, there are seven stories, two completed, four in progrss, and one on hiatus. My stories are roughly 1,500 words. Now, as many of you probably know, when it comes to fiction (or even icon challenges), there is one word (which will be the chapter title) that I will some how incorporate in the chapter. I hope everyone understood that... somewhat. Anyways, onto the summaries. --Completed Fatal Attraction: Complete. This ties in with Saving Smiles. However, instead of focusing on billionaire Christian McHale/Shadow, it focuses on Shadow's arch-nemesis and Onyx City's most psychotic victim, the Enigma. The police of Onyx City has captured the notorious villian and want him to see a psychologist for an hour a day, hoping to somehow figure out the Enigma's mental health. Of course, because of his reputation, rarely does a session last longer than fifteen minutes, let alone an hour. Enter in newly licensed psychologist Taylor Darrow. She agrees to treat him, despite advice stating otherwise. However, she wants to build an esteemed reputation and takes him on as a client. Will she manage to pull him from his shrouded darkness, or will he end up pulling her into such darkness? Saving Smiles: Complete. This ties in with Fatal Attraction. Instead of focusing on the villianess Enigma, it focuses on Christian McHale, a billionaire bachelor who despises the life of the wealthy, but doesn't understand any other life. His parents died in a fatal car crash when he was younger, with no one left to care for him save the butler and maid, The Jarvises. He's also in charge of his company, but finds his job rather stressful, and likes to get away from it all by occassionally walking the streets incognito. On such an occasion, he bumps into a feisty young woman who calls him out by calling him an "asshole". Instead of offending him, he is intruiged, and despite his wealthy upbringing, playboy reputation, and alter-ego, he pursues her. However, she's not exactly swept off her feet and Christian can't take no for an answer. Dangerous and Moving: Complete. The world is completely different. The year is 2035. Abortion is illegal. Homosexuality is punishable by death. Christianity is the national religion. When the president's daughter Maxine Fletcher preforms an abortion on herself, it goes wrong. The transporter she called to take her to the train station is the only one who can take her to a doctor. However, this just leads to getting both of them in trouble, and now they're both on the run. The only place they can go and be safe is California. The only problem? They can barely stand each other. Love's Back Pocket: Complete. Holly is the type of girl who is very serious about her studies. She wants to be a marriage psychologist, and has a huge final she needs to pass before starting her 1,000 hours of interning. Her best friend Tanya has two tickets to a concert she's been dying to see since forever, and makes Holly promise she can go. The problem is that the concert is the night before the final. So Holly apeases both herself and her friend by studying at the concert which, surprisingly, is possible. Up until the fact the lead singer calls her out on studying at his show, and the persuading her to do her 1,000 hours with him, by taking her on tour with him. Now her world is turned upside down, but she starts to realize it might not be a bad thing... Beautiful Disaster: Complete. Pirate captain Johnny Clover is mysteriously transported to the future due to his lack of selflessness by a mystic only known as Willow. There, he meets a woman, Izzy, who seems to be the only person who will even think about helping him, although she doesn't really believe he is who he says he is. However, he is pressed to learn his lesson as quickly as he can because things are starting to get out of hand where he's from. Pirates are beginning to vanish from the seas, and a battle between the Royal Navy and pirates seems inevitable. Johnny Picture 2 (at the Graduation Ball) Heroes & Thieves: Complete. A pirate story, because we all love pirates! Captain Jackaby Donn is known throughout the world as the Robin Hood of the Seven Seas. Some admire him for his work; stealing from the rich and distributing the accumulated profit to the poor. Some find his generosity weakening. He is rather mysterious, and does not fit into the usual pirate mold; he is always immaculately dressed, despises rum (instead, he divulges in red wine), and rarely acquires pleasure for the night. However, when he stumbles on a barmaid from Tortuga who has a dark secret and just wants to get off of Tortuga, he decides to help her out. That is when the problems slowly start to unravel. Brighter Than Anyone: Complete. SEQUEL to Saving Smiles. Now that Christian and Andie are together, they go through the usual trials of a usual couples. However, Christian's ex-girlfriend is coming back to Onyx with the interest of investing in Christian's company. Andie,on the other hand, has a secret admirer that sends her gifts and calls and hangs up whenever she answers. Not only that, but a villian wants to know the true identity of figuring out who the Shadow really is by any means necessary. Plus, there is a wedding to plan, but with all this drama, it'll be hard for the couple to focus. --Editing Process N/A --Hiatus N/A --In Progress Closer: SEQUEL to Fatal Attraction. Taylor is working as a cleaner in Abby Asylum after being released from jail for the incident at Christian McHale's Christmas Eve party eight months ago. The Enigma, also at Abby Asylum, calls for an escape and rescues his lover from their clutches just as she is about to get assaulted by a guard. He begins to mold her and shape her into the perfect villian - sultry, mysterious, sexy. There is no more Taylor just like there hasn't been a Jace for a while. There is only the Enigma and the Answer. The Dead Man's Tale: It is the height of the age of piracy, and Captain Jacob Colt is on the trail of one of the greatest finds of his era - the treasure belonging to who is known as The Dead Man. Once an abiding law man, Jacob is all but forced into piracy due to the brand on his forearm given to him by his former friend and employer Lord David Sutherland. Due to a chance encounter with a wealthy merchant's daughter, Brooke, he acquires the map to the treasure, along with her company. But Sutherland wants his revenge on Jacob and a mysterious female pirate captain wants to get her hands on the treasure no matter what the cost. What Jacob and Brooke don't know, however, is that the treasure they're looking for isn't quite what it seems... Stumble: Gemma Harrison is merely trying to go through college as normally as she possibly can, given the fact that she is the daughter of the head of the CIA. When Brent learns of credible threats against his daughter's welfare, he enlists one of his best agents originally from MI6, Daniel Bond, to help out concerning Gemma's safety. To Brent, the best bet for Gemma to remain normal and to down play any suspicion in hopes to keep her as safe as possible, he suggests Daniel and Gemma pretend to get married. This way, she'll have a protector with her at all times. The problem is, Daniel and Gemma don't exactly hit it off, and marriage seems to be the least of their problems... Losing Myself in You: In another world where werewolves live among humans, a select group of people make it their mission to take down these beasts. Bridgette Barker is a member of the Nocturnal Defense Society, wanting nothing more than to take down as many werewolves as she can. On a secret mission, she meats Logan Black, Alpha-male and in charge of a large group of werewolves. Before he lets her leave, however, he nips her neck. Bridgette returns to normal, as normal as she can possibly get. Except now she starts feeling different, having intimate dreams that featured Logan, and Logan himself can't get Bridgette out of his head. Unbeknownst to either of them, in marking her, Logan has claimed her, and Bridgette, though she hates it, realizes she won't be satisfied with anyone else but Logan. Trainwreck: Sadie Brown doesn't fit in any of her high school's cliques. She's smart, but she's not a nerd. She plays soccer on the varsity team, but she's not a jock. She gets along with mostly everyone, but she wasn't part of the popular crowd. She was a good girl, but she seemed to fall for bad boys. It's only with resident bad boy, Judd Asher whom she meets at detention, does she ever feel like she belonged. Except he has too many walls that Sadie doubted she would ever be able to knock down and even though he feels safe with her, he continues to push her away. Sadie's not sure how much more she can take, and Judd wants her more than he would ever be willing to admit. Things happen that indirectly cause the two to get closer together, but things won't ever change unless the two swallow their pride and admit their feelings. (This was written in memoriam of John Hughes.) Falling Over Me: Mike Langdon has been dead for a while now, except he's still hanging around his house that he lived in before he died. He's not in hell, not in heaven, not even in purgatory. And no one can see him. Well, that was true until he bumped into a girl who not only felt him, but saw him and spoke to him. Her name is Lara Darling, and she is currently occupying Mike's home with her fiance. Because of a botched job interview, Lara is stuck at home alone while her fiance Brett stays late at work. Though the two seem to do nothing but argue, Mike and Lara get closer and closer, but Lara thinks it's impossible to fall in love with a ghost - someone who isn't there. Except Mike is more real than she could ever imagine, and Lara can feel herself slowly start to fall in love with him, whether she wants to admit it or not. Until Your Mine: Set in the same place as Losing Myself in You. Frankie Grant is one of the Nocturnal Defense Society's (NDS) best assassins ever. So when she gets her new assignment - practically a babysitting job - she is somewhat upset. Her anger only increases when she realizes she is supposed to be the bodyguard of the Prince of Vampires, Joel Dragulia, son of Vladislas Dragulia (commonly known as Count Dracula). Apparently, a hit has been put out for the prince and since Frankie's reputation has preceeded her, he wants no one else to do the job. It doesn't matter that they come from two different worlds or that neither of them actually likes the other; the only thing that matters is Joel's safety. The case itself is more complicated than originally thought and when Frankie's life is on the line, the two come to abrupt realizations that involve emotions neither actually wants to admit to. Reputations are risked and sacrifices are made, but neither wants to analyze if it's simply because of the job or maybe something more. --Coming Soon Stop the World: (December 22, 2009) Edgar Stabler sells his niece's soul to the devil in exchange for money. Except the devil, referred to as Andrew, can't just take Harleen's soul; he has to befriend her and gain her trust first. The only problem is Harleen has a boyfriend and doesn't like Andrew all that much; she thinks it's weird a high school senior is hanging out with her loser of an uncle. Andrew has no qualms about breaking Harleen up with her boyfriend because, as he likes to think of it, she belongs to him anyways. What he needs is to earn her trust. But when he does, he takes her to a more permanent residence - in Hell. But Harleen starts to realize that maybe Hell isn't as bad as she originally thought, but she might be biased because she's starting to grow fond of Andrew, more so than she was willing to say. She just wasn't sure if he felt the same way. Could the devil actually feel compassion - love - for another person? Only time would tell. Battlefield:(January 13, 2010) Devyn isn't like any other human, probably because she's not. She wasn't made, she was created for the sole purpose to be a human weapon. She trains daily with her training partner and best friend Rachel because she's going to be used in an experiment for the public's entertainment. She's also assigned a very attractive but infuriating breeding partner from Scotland, Gerard. Her Unit is going up against five other Units, fighting to the death. The reward? Freedom. The chance to blend in with humanity. But will the elusive Director keep his word? And will Devyn and Gerard ever get along to the point of focusing on their mission? Killing By Captivation:(January 27, 2010) The devil needs a human to marry and procreate with in hopes to taint humanity. He sends his demon, Paul, a man neither living nor dead, in order to find the perfect mate in exchange for his own humanity; essentially life. Paul finds her in Starbucks' worker Amanda (Mandy), and as the world turns into turmoil, he saves her and takes her with him. Along the way, he ends up falling in love with her, and now must decide whether she's worth losing the chance at life. Blackout: (February 9, 2010) (Yes, I'm actually going to write this one!) Two FBI agents who happen to be partners always seem to be at odds with each other. Jeffery Beech is a devestatingly handsome, arrogant agent with swagger while Mina Wilson is intelligent, laidback, and the only one of Beech's female partners who has resisted his charms... until one night, when neither can deny temptation any longer. They pretend as though nothing has happened, and manage to work together without problems - save for the sudden realization of feelings. Then Mina is kidnapped, just moments after learning something about herself, by none other than The Director, a man notorious for kidnapping young women and having them lip synch to a CD of their choosing, releasing one song every hour. If the police can't reach her by the time the CD is finished, she is killed. Mina's CD of choice is Britney Spears' Blackout. Now it's up to Beech to decipher the meaning of each song in order to figure out just where The Director has taken Mina. Come Away with Me: (February 18, 2010) I must give credit where credit is due: I was toying around with the idea of writing a fictional account of John Dillinger after reading 10 (yes 10, no exaggeration there) books on the man's life, and fell irrevockably in love with him, but I could never figure out where to insert my fictional heroine. Enter Evanescence's Love, who suggests that I write a story about a taxi dancer - a woman in the 1920s and 30s who danced with men for money (dimes, to be exact). And the pieces suddenly fell into place. I had my plot - based on accurate, historical information - and I DO keep to what actually happened - most of the time. This is a romance here. Anyways, the plot is - Zelda is a taxi dancer, in an unhappy relationship up until the point where a man who introduces himself as Jimmy Lawrence sweeps her off her feet. That man is really Dillinger, and after finding out about Zelda's relationship, whisks her away on adventure she'll never forget. So there you have it! And, as always, reviews equal love.
