Author has written 13 stories for Horror, Action, Romance, General, Family, Life, Friendship, Humor, Love, and School. Hello there XD My name is Melissa, I'm a young writer from Melbourne, Australia. If you see words you think are spelling mistakes (eg. humour, realised) it is more likely that the spelling is different because of where I am from. Now to clear things up: Yes, I'm Australian. No, this does not mean I ride kangaroos to school. Yes, I can also speak Australian. Amazing isn't it? Believe it or not, if you are reading this, so can you! My profile picture is me with three of my closest girl friends. I am the one with the black hair in the black dress. Haha, and I say I don't fit into a stereotype. I have published many works from years ago, and also some newer ones. A basic guide to my writing is this: the simpler (and sometimes happier) pieces are generally from a few years ago. Also, a large majority of my poetry is very old, but the more complex ones are more recent. Lately I have delved into trying to improve my writing, expanding my vocabulary and writing short one shots, which may seem not to make much sense, but which if explored, have many hidden meanings behind the words. I am a huge fan of Edgar Allen Poe, I think his poetry and short stories are simply superb. Maybe that's why I write so much gothic fiction! Anyway, for now that's all I have to say. Please feel free to review my work; it is much appreciated. Constructive criticism is always welcome, and grammar and spelling corrections are also loved. Flames are not appreciated in the slightest. If you are going to criticise my work, at least let me know why you are criticising it, and how you think I can improve it. Despite all the nasty sounding things I've said above, I'm quite approachable, and always willing to check over your work, and suggest improvements and give praise.
