Author has written 5 stories for Romance, Thriller, Historical, Essay, and Sci-Fi. WELCOME to the profile of one who goes by Road To Anywhere. Her name be Rachel, she hath lived 17 winters, and she doth reside in the mystical land of Texas, and the kingdom of the United States of America. She does indeed enjoy reading, as well as writing ye olde slash story. Herein lie her particular favorites: fantasy, science-fiction, supernatural, and fiction of the historical variety. She also doth enjoy music, including but not limited to alternative rock, post-rock, electronic, and symphonic. Her weapon of choice is her French Horn, with which she plays in her school and community band with reasonable skill. In her a deep interest in science, especially of the biological strain, runs. This hath resulted in her future plans to earn a doctoral degree in virology...and hopefully cure HIV. Other interests of the Rachel be: writing about herself in third person, and writing in a random semi-olde-English style. 'Cause she's a dork like that. Check out her stories. She's also been meaning to mention, she loves criticism. Note: there is a difference between criticism and flames. Her goal is to become a better writer, and she loves it when you tell her how she can improve. :) Favorites (of the moment): Song: For Your Entertainment - Adam Lambert Band: Air Traffic, MuteMath Book: The Immortals by Tracy Hickman. It changed my life. (Also The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss) Movie: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you son of silly person. What's going on with me... 10.26.09: I am now on semi-hiatus. My transcript came in today, and my GPA and rank went down--honestly, I pretty much blame fictionpress. Well, myself. For being addicted to fictionpress. Anyway, until I reclaim my rightful position as top-of-the-class, I will be avoiding this site like the plague. Sorry guys. If anyone's interested in talking to me for whatever reason, here's a few places I can be found. I check them all pretty equally.
