Important Updates (10/30/09 edition):

Oh, my. I have been quite...invisible, haven't I? Well, I assue you, I am not dead! Just an extraordinarily overwhelmed person as of right now. Reasons, you ask? Why, sure, let us delve into my life as of right now.

-Preparing for NaNoWriMo (my plot is completely figured out, doing last minute characterizations, etc.)

-Cheerleading (surprise, surprise, our football team is actually 7-1 right now! Looks like Varsity Fall Cheer will be running a bit longer)

-School work (uhm, self-explanatory)

-Trying to defeat writer's block (taking Creative Writing 1, doing quite well--coming up with some fabulous potential stories that will most likely come out in Decemeber, aftere this NaNo hulabaloo is done with)

-Planning a story review blog! Exciting, oui? I literally just had the spark of inspiration not twenty minutes ago, so it'll be a long time before it is up and running. If you have any suggestions, please drop me a PM. Love to here from you all, even if there is NaNo craziness!

Sounds like fun, you betcha. Now I must scurry away and get some real work done--thankfully, it's a four day weekend!! Hallaluah!! I'll probably have a lot more time to get homework done, NaNo started, etc. Wish me some luck, s'il vous plait. I wish everyone a happy halloween, too, while I'm at it. Next up is Thanksgiving! Hard to believe that I'm already two months into school. Pinch me. ;)

Shielded By Chanel (oneshot) Different Summary:> The daughter of an A-list actor/producer/everything maxes out her credit card--again! Low and behold, a not-so-famous boy recognizes her... so what happens next?

If I Can Steal Your Phone Again (oneshot) Different Summary:> Boy asks for Girl's phone. Girl (who pines after Boy) wonders if it's something more.

Fortune Teller (non-fiction oneshot) Background:> My 100 percent true encounter with a Fortune Teller.

Cracking Perfection (TaD WINNER) Random Chatter:> This story is pretty good. I wrote it in maybe two or three hours. What did surprise me is the whole pretending to be perfect thing. I'll probably play with that kind of attitude in newer stories/oneshots. Different Summary:> You don't have to be perfect. But it takes a daredevil brother, two cars, one boy, and one flash storm for a girl to realize this.

Best Friend (NVWP Anthology piece--oneshot) Background:> I pretty much have bad taste in friends. Well, mostly. I do have a few friends, contrary to what I say in this story. It's the ending of my friendship with one girl, in a metaphorical sense.

Surprise! (oneshot) It's better than I originally thought:> About a love triangle.

Sudden Death (one shot) Different Summary:> Does going through pain truly make you stronger? Decide for yourself when you read the story of the underdog in the competition to get a guy's attention...only she doesn't know she's the underdog. Written in one painfully long night.
