Hi! My name is Heather, I'm married to the most amazing man of all time!! His name is John, we've been married for almost two years and he's been in the U.S. Navy for about two and a half years. We were in Goose Creek, South Carolina for two years for his nuke training but are now stationed in Bangor, Washington and we LOVE it here! We both grew up in Northern Colorado...an amazing and wonderful place! John and I both went to the same high school, but we weren't really part of the same social circles until we started dating late March of 2008. Since then he's been my everything! I love him to death, he's made me realize my potential in a lot of things and he's very supportive of every hobby/idea I pick up!

I've been writing for as long as I can remember, mostly stories about older teenage/young adult women having a rough time getting through life, but there's always a happy ending! My stories usually have a lot of violence and romance in them, something I find myself reverting back to even when I try to write a story WITHOUT either of those themes in it.

Another thing I love to do is sing. I've been in choir since the fourth grade, however sophomore and junior year I wasn't able to fit it into my schedule, senior year (almost four years ago already!) was the last time i was apart of any formal choir. If I had the chance to be apart of one again I would jump at it!

One other thing I'm obsessed with is Sims...absolutely LOVE that game and when I'm not writing or paying attention to the hubby that's exactly what I'm doing!

Some day, in the distant future when I have the money, education and resources, I'd just LOVE to open a no-kill shelter! But for now I'll be applying at some of the navy colleges on base and getting through my general ed degree until I decide what I want to major in.

I know it's been a while since I've updated "The Horror Within" but the last week or so I've found myself motivated to continue writing and editing it and am SO happy to say I'm finally on a roll again! Please take the time to R&R "The Horror Within" as that is the story I'm taking the most serious at the current time :)
