Extended Summary: Genevieve Araya was born into foster care with a junkie for a mother and no father to be heard from. The death of her latest foster parent, Jameson, has shaken her to the core. She must learn to cope with this burden while make a new life for herself in the small, southern town of Caraville under the care of wacky and eccentric, Muriel. She hopes she can keep her guilt and her blame for Jameson's death to herself but soon, the entire town has labeled her as a murderer.

-- This song basically inspired the entire plot of this novel. I have been listening to it since it came out and over the summer, this entire plot hit me all at once. The entire thing is planned out perfectly so if you read it, I suggest you listen to this song. It has the tone and mood I want to convey.
