I'm Kara.

I'm a writer, obviousssssly, but I'm also a procrastinator... not such a great combination, eh? I'll write a prologue, delete it, write another one, then delete it... and the cycle continues until I come up with an idea that sticks. I don't hate, and I don't discriminate. Stereotypes are ridiculous. I don't really like liars, but I tell a white lie every now and then... who doesn't? I'm a Christian, meaning I believe in God and I do believe the Word of God. My favorite verse in the bible is from Isaiah, chapter 41. "So, do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41: 10-13
I have another favorite bible verse, but I think a lot of people like this one.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
But that's enough of my favorite BVs, lol.
A big thing for people to know about me is that I live and breathe music. I'm a lyric's girl like Peyton from One Tree Hill, which just so happens to be my all time favorite show. I can't get enough of James Lafferty and Austin Nichols and all their sexiness. Anywho, some of my favorite artists include the following: Pink, Britney Spears(I'm not ashamed to admit it, rofl), Carrie Underwood(her songs are so damn inspirational), Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys(soulful music is good for the soul), Jordin Sparks, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey(post crap pop songs), Avril Lavigne, Leona Lewis(a soon-to-be legend, I'm sure), Bethany Joy Galeotti, Kate Voegele, and many more. Music just speaks to me, ya know? It gets me through the good times and the bad times, and I know that even when I don't have anyone, I still have my music. Like I said, I live and breathe music. Always. :)
Writing is a huge part of my life, obviously, but I don't write for fame or anything of the sort. I write for me. I write because I love to have that feeling of accomplishment when I complete one of my stories. My stories are my babies. Surprisingly enough, though, I don't want to pursue a career in creative writing. Spring 2010-Fall 2011, I'll be attending the community college in my town. After that year of community college is complete, I will be moving on to West Virginia University and majoring in Journalism and Psychology, and I'll be minoring in Education(with an intent to be an English teacher). Lol, so yeah, I'm pretty ambitious. :)
