Author has written 4 stories for Romance.

I'm Kara, obviously. If you don't know that by now, than you obviously haven't read my author note's much. I have about a million nicknames, but most of them are embarrassing. My uncle sometimes calls me Karabear, but he's the only one who gets to call me that, lolz. I hit anyone who dares refer to me as Karabear, even my friends. Another stupid nickname of mine is Powsy Wowsy, courtesy of my freshman gym teacher. He called me that all four years of high school, and I absolutely hated it, rofl. There's not much you can do with a name like Kara, though, so everyone does what they will with it. Moving on - writing is pretty much my life. I started writing when I was six years of age. The first story I wrote was about a Hawaiian girl and I remember writing something along the lines of a hula skirt blowing in the wind, even though it wasn't windy. Give me a break, I was only six. My best friend, Jason, and I used to write songs together, but I don't write lyrics anymore. Writing plays is my comfort zone. I've found that I'm really good at it, and in high school, I remained number one in my Playwriting class the entire year. It helped that I put good grammar to use instead of half-assing my plays. Reading is something that I do for fun. I have a million favorite books - okay, well, maybe not that many, but pretty close to it. My favorite series are the Night World Series, Twilight Saga, Women's Murder Club, the Inkheart Series, and the Luxe series. My favorite author is James Patterson. He's an amazing author, and his books almost always capture my attention from the first line. Music is my heart and my soul. Music is what gets me through the day. I'm a lyrics girl, needless to say. My favorite song as of the moment is Why by Nicole Nordeman - just listen to the message and you'll understand why.

My favorite television shows are One Tree Hill(James Lafferty is just about the sexiest man alive), The Secret Life of an American Teenager, Supernatural, Smallville, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit(SVU), and Wizards of Waverly Place. I'm also getting into shows like the new Melrose Place and I actually like America's Next Top Model. I have an unhealthy obsession with vampires(kind of always have, even before I found out about Twilight) and Robert Pattinson(the guy is a God - loved him the second he stepped onto the screen as Cedric from Harry Potter). I sing a lot. Singing is something I do merely for the fun of it. I've been told a few times that I'm talented, but if I sing professionally, it'll be to spread the Gospel. I am a Christian, but I don't judge those who aren't. Everyone's entitled to their beliefs. Some people wonder how a Christian can enjoy slash stories - to me, it's simple. My belief is that God loves all of his children, even the gays. My best friend is gay and he is one of the best people I know. But enough about that - like I said, people will believe what they believe. I can do nothing to change that. Children of Hope is the most inspirational, beautiful, heart-wrenching book I have ever read. My heart breaks with every line. I hope one day to go to Africa and help the kids over there. Most people look the other way when it comes to Africa, but after reading Children of Hope, I know that they have no control over what goes on there. Three-hundred funerals are held in one weekend. The statistics are so unbelievable, but yet, they are real. God bless these children.

I'm a procrastinator. I put things off until the last minute. I'm afraid to take chances. I don't really like change, but I'm not naive enough to believe that things don't change, because they do. I'm eighteen years young, and will be nineteen in March. I'm the girl that's kicking the coke machine. I'm the girl everyone loves to hate. I'm a straight-to-the-point kind of girl. I don't sugarcoat anything. If I think you're a bitch, I'll tell you. I loathe, abhor, hate, despise, etc., fairy tales. I'm a cynic. I believe in love, but I don't believe in true love. Sad endings are my favorite endings, because sad endings are more realistic than happily ever freaking after. Still, I enjoy writing happy endings, because at least characters in books get their happily ever after, right? I am who I am and I'm not going to change for anyone. I like chocolate. I wear clothes that make me comfortable. I'd rather wear jeans and a t-shirt than a halter-top and mini-skirt. I'd rather wear sneakers than stilettos. I'd rather go natural than cake on makeup. If that's not good enough for someone, then that person can just shove it. Like I said, I am me.
