Author has written 18 stories for Romance, Horror, Young Adult, and Fantasy. My name is Lea. I am barely legal, and I've been writing for about four or five years. I've written about 300+ poems, about 15 of them are decent but will never be seen on the internet. Poetry is not my gig. I must say I'm better at stories. That's where I'm at right now. I write short stories that are too long to be stories, but too short to be novels. I've finished over a dozen and have about 2 or 3 more in the works. Most are about teen love stuff and difficulties in the home. I've dabbled in fantasy, drugs (in my writing) and horror. Nothing uber fancy. I like to keep it simple. I'm currently 75,000 words(and counting) into a full length novel. I would really love to see some reviews and criticism. I'm always open for improvement. Recently, I've hit the peak of my writing career and I wrote over 40,000 words. The longest I'd written before that was around 25,000, I believe? (Correction: longest piece is approx. 62,000) Writing is basically the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm at the point where I can't picture my life without it, which is an incredible experience. I really don't know what I would do if I couldn't write. It calms me down, helps me to figure things out and lets me challenge myself to increase my abilities. It also helps me when I talk to other people. Haha, I sound like an essay. The point of my rambling is that I love it, couldn't imagine what I'd do without it. And, the best part of all of this is that no matter what I can write, all the time, anywhere. No matter how my life is going, I will always have a pencil and notebook, accompanied by my, thankfully, creative brain. I studied at a New York art school for five weeks this past summer for Creative Writing, and it was possibly the most exciting, and draining, experience I've ever had. Thank you, Pratt.
