Just a note:

I don't really swear that much in real life (at least, I didn't used to... I think my writing is affecting my speech), but since my stories tend to take place in a military setting, and there is certainly no shortage of swear words in that environment, that particular aspect of the culture makes it into my stories. I know it doesn't really add much to the story, except for a bit of authenticity; there are some people who have truly managed to master the art of swearing, people who can make any f-bomb not only fit, but necessary for that sentence. Unfortunately, that is a skill I don't have, so my characters don't really have it, either. That's not going to stop from them from swearing, though, because, well, that's what they do.

To my friends from FFN, welcome to fictionpress and the display of my results of writing things involving characters that nobody else made up first. If you did come from FFN, though, you'll probably recognize some characters from Falling on Unyielding Ground, which is the background story on Tomblin and Cunningham from the story The Price of Honesty. By popular request, I added a new story, Hitting Hard, which is the story of Tomblin and Cunningham between splitting up at the end of Falling (the end minus the epilogue, that is) through the events of The Price of Honesty on FFN. There's also a story on FFN, Loose Ends, which has some of the characters from my published story The Network, a few years later.
