It seems since I'm a writer I wouldn't have so much trouble describing myself in a few words - then again, if I were a person of few words, I wouldn't be writing novels. I am a graduate student who spends too much time studying scholarly literature and writing "serious" fiction, thus I have a serious guilty pleasure for chick lit. Somewhere in the process of earning my degrees I have lost sight of how fun fiction can be, and I'm returning here in hopes that I can regain the sheer enjoyment of writing without deadlines or that serious editing process looming over me but still reap the benefits of sharing my work with others. What's It Feel Like to be a Ghost: A new project I've started with a surprisingly short first chapter that may be lengthened in the coming days.
