A lovely story I've been working on about a girl named Andi and the twisted things that happen to her. She's part of a prophecy in the world of shift-shapers. This is the first story I have finished, so I'm proud of it. :) Lur of the Earth: My first story about a girl named Lur and her gang of element benders. This got quite a bit off track... This has been DISCONTINUED. I didn't have many people reading it in the first place... It was just... bad. I hope to one day get around to rewriting it, but I need a major break from it. It was way out of hand. Beat: Currently a one shot that suddenly came to me one night. It was inspired by Maximum Ride, but isn't directly based off of it. It will remain a one shot unless it suddenly receives high reviews. Then, I may consider continuing it. Lupa Thunder: Lupa was inspired by Evanescence's song "Bring Me to Life". Currently, I plan to keep her as a blurb, but maybe, in the very distant future, she could be rewritten and continued. Let's Just Be Us: I was feeling rather sappy... Wrote a lovely blurb about a couple. :) As I Follow the River's Current: Sometimes, I just feel like writing something sad. For those who wonder if it is based off of my personal life, thankfully, you are wrong. But it was originally part of a larger story I scrapped and deemed unworthy of the internet. I liked the beginning though so I thought I'd share it. Bit's Pieces: Due to extreme writers block regarding HDA (a novel I'm still considering whether to post on here) and the sequel to Shift, I've been doing bits to at least get myself writing. These are the products of my frustration. IF I NEVER RESPOND TO A REVIEW OF YOURS: I'm terribly sorry! I try to respond to every review I can't, but off and on, my internet does not agree with my intention and will block me from review links. Sometimes it says error, sometimes it simply will not load the page, but I always try. After a while, the link on my email stops working altogether. So, for this reason, I apologize in advance for my internet hating me! Stuff you may be stalker-ish enough to care about: My name is Lindsay. I'm 17 years old. I LOVE to write even though I get writer's block a lot. I have a German Shepherd named Marlie. (Hint, hint, cough, cough, if you've read Shift.) My life was consumed in the magic of Avalon when I was in 3rd grade. My one of my best friends, Gabby, introduced me to that magic. I prefer to live in the now but keep finding myself dwelling on the past. I'm semi-nocturnal. I was born in San Diego, moved to Mahwah, NJ; moved to Cherry Hill, NJ; and moved to Chicago suburbs, IL. I just recently learned how to punctuate the above sentence. I've lived 8 years in my current house, which is the longest I've lived in one house as well as one state. I LOVE Death Cab for Cutie and many other bands as well. I can never seem to find peace in my own head. I never go a minute without a song stuck in my head. I don't watch much TV, aside from the occasional History Channel special and the Doctor Who ever Saturday! The only reason I have listed this far is because I'm really bored and have nothing else to do. I'm running out of things to say. College applications suck. Just FYI. | |||||||
