Author has written 2 stories for Romance.

Hi Everyone,

Just so you're aware: I'm not a writer. I've never taken a creative writing class in my life (if you couldn't already tell LOL). So what inspired me to sit down and do this?

I read a romance series, and I was so disappointed with the last couple of books, I actually threw them away and gave up on the author completely. Then I saw an interview with her. Apparently a lot of readers felt the same way I did, and the interviewer asked her what she thought about all the negative feedback. Her response? "Well if they don't like my story, maybe they should write their own."

Haha! Kind of a bitchy thing to say, but she was absolutely right. Those are her characters and she can do whatever the hell she wants with them. I think all of us who read romance have some ideal hero or heroine in our minds. We might have created them ourselves, or maybe they came from a favorite story we've read so many times we have no tears left for it.

Either way, when a hero or heroine makes promises they don't deliver, we feel robbed. To fall in love with a character that disappoints you in the end is like losing a close friend, and it's a friend you'll never get the chance to call up and apologize to when you're drunk one night (even though it wasn't your fault in the first place). It's a friend you don't even want to call, because you realize you never really knew them in the first place.

That's how I feel, at least. I get attached to the characters, and other writers often break my heart. So for me, this is a chance to create my own characters in my own world. They won't disappoint me because I won't let them, and I really hope they don't disappoint you.

Some notes about To Summon:
This story is beyond rated R for strong language, explicit sexual content, and violence. The story's about two young witches who get in over their heads, an unhealthy obsessive relationship, growing into womanhood, and friendship. Sounds like an odd mix of messages, I'm sure. But I think that sums it up. Enjoy!
