If you had written a book on the internet and posted all but the last chapter, would you pull the whole project down and attempt to publish it, never posting the last chapter on the internet at all?
1 Maybe. I would post the last chapter for a set amount of time (ie. 1 week) and then pull the whole thing, giving my readers the chance to see how the story ends as a reward for their dedication.
2 No. Publishing takes too long. They will have lost interest by the time the book is available.
3 Yes. Not posting the last chapter will encourage them to buy the book once it is published.
4 Yes. Writing is my dream and sometimes it's important to look at the bigger picture.
5 No. Too many people have invested themselves in this project to withhold the last chapter from them.
6 Yes. But I would attempt to strike some sort of deal with the dedicated readers which may include some sort of discount or signed copy of the book when available.
