Author has written 4 stories for Supernatural, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and General. Hey! I don't know exactly how these things work...this is my best attempt at setting up a profile. My name's Lily, I'm 17 years old as of Dec. 2008 (my birthday's the day after Christmas), a senior in high school, and I live in a super small town in the mountains (although starting next year I'll be living in Berkeley :) ). I'm an only child and it's just me and my mom. I've loved to write since middle school (though hopefully there's been some improvement since then, 'cause I still have 6th grade notebooks and reading the stories I wrote makes me want to literally injure myself. Or the books. Secret agents who go to UCNY and get Master's Degrees in law. I didn't know that a) there CANNOT BE a UC New York, b) you cannot get a Master's in law, and c) especially not after one year. Oh, and d) secret agents are supposed to kill people. Mocking is definitely in order.). I don't even know what 'genre' I normally write. Let's go with teen fiction/fantasy? My favorite books include the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, the Twilight series (yes, I know, how new and different), Libba Bray's books, His Dark Materials, and the Lord of the Rings. It goes without saying that that's a condensed list. I might not actually post stories very often first because I'm a very anxious person and the idea of other people reading my writing makes me tense (so why did I join a writing forum for that exact purpose? I don't know. Excuse me while I slap myself in the face), and second because my computer has dinosaur internet and so doing anything involving uploading and Internet just gives me a headache. :) Thanks. | |||||||
