Author has written 19 stories for Love, School, Life, Friendship, Family, Religion, and Humor. See also: http://aquaticnocturne.tumblr.com I'm Remy. I like giving myself nicknames. I'll be 19 this November. I go to Mizzou and am majoring in Psychology, with a potential double major in Child Life. And maybe a minor in writing... I'm a Sagittarius; apparently that means I'm outgoing and obsessed with nature. That is totally wrong. I am shy to the point of being a hermit, and I really dislike the outdoors for the most part. I would be happier if I had been growing up in the 1920's, 1940's, or 1960's. I am in love with Ringo Starr and Jon Hamm. Tom Felton has been a crush of mine since the first Harry Potter movie came out. Besides my future job as a child psychologist, some careers I've had in mind: Honors English teacher, detective, filmmaker, actress, writer, tornado chaser, ballerina... Books, poetry, movies, music, history, philosophy, the human mind, words in general - I can't get enough. I have serious deathly fears of spiders, owls, bridges, static on the TV, and being abandoned. But mostly spiders. I'm really obsessive and it bugs me so much. Unfortunately I don't have a spine, so I never take risks for things I want. Ugh, conundrum. I'm not normal, to say the least. Unlike 98 percent of the teenage population, I actually love reading. And school. Told you I'm weird. More random personality traits - HUGE procrastinator, easily distracted, clingy, sensitive, emotional, likes to exaggerate, indecisive, way too quiet for my own good, compulsive liar, musical, creative, daydreamer, bipolar, grammar and spelling freak, shy, prone to dramatic mood swings in record time, but a really awesome and loyal and funny friend once you get close to me. My poems are usually autobiographical or tied in to a character in one of my abundant stories, some of which I may actually finish/upload someday. Either that, or they're results of fanciful mental images. Believe it or not, writing fiction is my first love. I just never actually finish it or don't like it enough to publish. Some days I just wind up pulling a bunch of random poetry out of my butt. No, not literally. favorites... author: F. Scott Fitzgerald is the almighty. I also love Jeffrey Eugenides, Sylvia Plath, Ernest Hemingway, Leo Tolstoy, books: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass, The Great Gatsby (anything by Fitzgerald!), The Lovely Bones, Atonement, Shutter Island, Rebecca, The Notebook, Night, The Virgin Suicides, The Bell Jar, Thirteen Reasons Why movies (my favorite things): Atonement, Inception, Schindler's List, The Dark Knight, La vie en rose, An Education, Moulin Rouge, Shutter Island, A Hard Day's Night, Help!, The Prestige, Nine...anything with Marion Cotillard.
