Hello :) My name is Ashlee Rose... Guess it's easy to figure out how I chose my username huh?

I honestly cannot believe how many amazing writers have posted stuff here and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

Things I love: animals (going to be a vet, hopefully...guess it's a good thing I like school because I've still got undergrad and grad school to go), reading (fantasy fanatic and lover of romance), music (I listen to music constantly and often sing along, which annoys the hell out of some people), movies (action and comedies are my favorite, but I love the thrill of a good horror flick, just not the paranoid/freaked out feeling I get after watching them), my family (begrudgingly I include my brother, just kidding ;) I mean sure we don't really get along but he's family so I love him all the same), my friends (they're the best), nature (I'll take the countryside over a city any day)...and lots of other stuff but I don't feel like typing anything else :p

Things I Hate: nothing, things annoy me or I might not like something, but my life is blessed enough for me to know I can't complain about the petty things. I've got a good life, I know it, and I'm grateful.

Who Are You?- poem, about life and how people deal with certain aspects of it.

Can't Be Pushed Aside- poem I wrote about how emotions can be overwhelming but it is always better to deal with them instead of trying to ignore them.

Real Crime- poem was inspired by the ficpress motto "let the words flow" I definitely agree that expressing yourself in anyway is an important aspect of life and it helps you connect with other people.

You Don't Even Matter- poem might seem a little depressing, but the message is supposed to be more uplifting. No matter how lonely you feel, there is always going to be people who care about you...all you have to do is let them care about you.

Within Grasp:The Power to Change- removed; fantasy story; Arianna Nickelson has just transferred into Lexington Academy. Little does she know that she has just been thrown into a world she didn't even know existed. Vampires are real and there are people called Tamers that have the power to control the immortal race. Okay, so college has officially started and I am already exhausted. Man, people weren't kidding when they said it was tough. Updates for all my stories will probably be slower since I won't have as much time for writing.
