Author has written 34 stories for Thriller, Love, Life, Action, Mystery, Fantasy, and General. Hi, I am Lee Daniel. I am a published author that likes to use this site as a sounding board for the stories that I am working on. It is always nice to get feedback before sending them off to a publisher. I write mostly Psychological Thrillers because the darkness of the mind is both fascinating and terrifying to me. Stories about beasts and ghouls do not really scare me because they have no basis in reality, but those that are sick in the head and prey on others are as abundant in the real world as they are in fiction. I try to delve into the most twisted of mindsets in order to show who the stranger buying coffee next you might really be. Sure, he could be your everyday normal guy that gets up and goes to work and pays his bills and just tries to make it through every day. Or he might have just washed the blood off his hands from his latest murder. You never really know. Unless you are the unlucky one to trust him at the wrong time. In answer to some concerns that come my way, no, I am not the villain of my stories. Call me crazy, but I both hate and fear my villains as much or more than my readers. At times I have to force myself to step back and take a break because the things they do are so revolting to me that I need to calm down. Do I have my own share of crazy thoughts? Sure I do. Otherwise I would write children's books with happy bunnies and butterflies. But I have found that writing about the dark and twisted thoughts that reside within us all is far more therapeutic and my readers tend to agree. It is amazing to me how many people are both terrified and fascinated by the same things as me. So if you are looking for a happy go lucky story that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, I am most certainly not the author for you. On the other hand, if you like to read something that makes a chill run down your spine and impels you to double check that you have indeed both locked and dead bolted all the doors to your house, by all means make your way through Like A Suicide. Be careful though. Once you let Wraith into your mind and see what he is capable of, you just might have a hard time getting him out. And by way of additional warning, just because you locked your doors does not mean that the stranger from the coffee shop is not already inside your house. He might be standing behind you right now, waiting for you to finish reading and turn around. Feel free to check out my favorite author's list. They are all there for a reason.
