Author has written 1 story for Romance. My name is Shaye. I'm fifteen years old and, big shocker ;D, I play flute in concert/marching band. I aspire to be a teen romance novelist and English/Lit Professor. My dream is to get my degree from Harvard. I love, love, love music! I'm also, like many millions of other teenage girls, obsessed with a little book series/movie called Twilight. Maybe you've heard of it? :D I've been writing on fanfiction for about two years now and it's my escape from reality so to speak. My stories that are all mine (aka NOT fanfictions) are based on my real life friends and fellow band members who have interesting stories that I feel need to be told. I'll post my first story as soon as I do some editing. Hope you like my writing! I also, like any other writer on here, would LOVE some feedback! Positive or negative. Constructive criticism is always welcome! Not just on my story, but on anyone's. Before you click that back button think about this: Once apon a time, you were new to writing and the reviews you got helped you alongs the way. What's the point of posting a story on this site if not for the sole purpose of getting feedback from other authors like yourself. We all have a common goal so we should have each other's backs! :D My Stories: 1) 8 To 5: A Story of Love, Loss, and Marching Band- for any of you non-bandies who may want to read this story, 8 to 5 means eight equal steps to five yards in marching terminology. I thought it was cute and fit the story. This is a mostly true story about some of my friends in my marching/concert band. I changed the names a little, but they're still basically the same. I don't really have an extremely melodramatic marching band. Ha! But it would be quite amusing... :D Listening to the Saves the Day songs on the playlist really go along with the story. They also have a major role in what happened in my actual life! :D Music Playlist for 8 To 5: | |||||||
