Author has written 1 story for Fantasy.

Ah. Yes. What to say about myself?

I consider myself an aspiring writer, so I am really no different from the majority of people on this site. I have been reading works on the internet for a few years now, and a recent influx of good stories has inspired me to post my own writing.

I write mainly ... well actually I don't know what to call my genre. It's sort of a fantasy/supernatural/drama thing. Mostly I want to see how my work is received, and whether or not I can write something of interest. Several ideas that have been floating around in my head for a while now have actually formed something that just might be plot, and is currently up under the working title of Impractical Meditation.

Well, that is it I am afraid. I am an exceptionally boring person. To anyone who actually finds my obscure little account, I apologize for not having a witty and intelligent bio prepared for you.

But honestly, if you went to all the trouble of finding me, you must have some free time on your hands. So why not have a read and leave a review?

Oh, and Canaletto is the name of a Venetian painter most well known for his landscapes of Venice (how surprising), a city I have had the recent pleasure of visiting. Just in case you were curious.

Notice: I now have my own avatar. It is an adorable robot doing the point. Enjoy it.

Seeing as FictionPress doesn't give too much room for summaries, I have written up a somewhat more detailed introduction to Impractical Mediation at the request of a friend. So, if you weren't interested before...

Start of Summary

Somewhere on the island of Lurett, Coin the hapless and terminally unlucky thief is running away from the angry mob out to get him. Sadly, this is nothing out of the ordinary.

Somewhere else on the island of Lurett, Metis lives the ordinary life of the not so ordinary criminal, which includes (but is not limited to) deception and murder, avoiding legal persecution from the Navy, and finding supernatural weapons with incredible abilities. He also has Purpose and Ambition (note capital letters).

But when these two strangers are forced to work together to obtain said supernatural weapons, things quickly spiral out of control. To their credit, Coin and Metis have got their wits, their legs, a whole lot of explosives, and the determination to stay alive no matter what.

Because all of a sudden, life isn’t about finding somewhere to sleep at the end of the day anymore; it’s about getting out alive, preferably with all limbs still in their proper places.

And then, there is Sebastian the amorous dolphin (don’t ask).

End of Summary
