Author has written 5 stories for Mystery, Essay, and General. Okay, I just randomly decided to change my profile. There's no real reason for the change. I just wanted to. I just have to give credit to Rino-chan since I stole her layout. .:ll The Simple Details ll:. Penname: xokaliox22 .:ll Brief Introduction ll:. Hello everybody. Welcome to my profile. You know, I don't know why I put so much effort into my profile. It's not like I believe that a lot of people actually check it out, I just hope that they do. So if you are actually reading this, thank you so much for actually putting in the effort to do so. It's greatly appreciated. Story-wise, I'm getting a lot more views and even reviews than I expected. I was thinking I'd get about 5 tops for each story, but I've gotten a lot more. I want to once again thank every loyal reader that I possibly have, though I'm not exactly sure how many I have acquired. Okay, I know my writing may not be amazing right now, but I am putting a ton of effort into improving it. That's part of the reason that I'm here. Feedback is a really important thing for me because I really need the advice. I also love reading other stories for inspiration for my own stories. It definitely helps a lot. My writing overall barely has inspiration. I know that sounds really sad, but it's the truth. I guess somehow in my mind, I knew that I enjoyed writing my whole life, but I never really acknowledged it until recently. Now I can't stop getting new ideas which is really not a good thing because I am incredibly busy with school now. I promise I will work with my ideas at some point though. More about myself: Well, I am of the more mature sex out of the two that are known out there. Who knows, maybe there really is a mysterious third sex out there. I am definitely more mature than most people my age. Trust me, there are some pretty immature people out there. I, unlike most people, accept all people whether they're considered geeks or popular kids. Sadly I feel that only I can say that out of the people I know in real life. I believe that I am the queen of randomness when it comes to talking to people. My friends and I could be talking about one thing and all of a sudden I'll just completely change the subject. If you know me, you're used to that. I am one of the few people that understands that everyone is different, and actually accepts people for that as I said before. Nobody is the same, it's practically impossible. How can you truly judge somebody if you don't know enough about them? That was actually a point I was trying to prove in a piece of writing last year and I stand by that belief. If you ever need anybody to talk to, just go to me. God knows I'll listen to anything you have to say and try to help you out. I hate seeing people upset. I also absolutely love to read. I can never get enough books. No matter what, I will always be reading something. I make sure to have a book with me at all times. I make sure to get the most books for a good price as possible. I despise racists who never tries to give a chance in knowing someone just because of their color/religion y much anything in (I know that I didn't change the sentence or anything, I just have nothing to change in it. My dad is a racist. He claims that he's not but he will insult anyone that is not white or American. I just think it's horrible what he does). I can be a sort f rebellious person if something gets to me, but I'm a person with a great attitude toward things most of the time. I hope you enjoyed my never ending about me section. If you ever want to talk or tell me anything, just send me a message and I'll gladly respond. The more people that message me or read my stories, the happier I am. :) .:ll My Human Prompts - The Culprits ll:. You know, I may have said that I have almost no inspiration, but there are a few really important people that caused me to become obsessed with reading and writing fiction on here. Here are some of the most influential people: Jaqueline (She's from school, enough said)» Well, she is probably the friend that really introduced me to fanfiction. I had been on the site before but I never really did much. I hadn't even signed up for my own account yet. If I had joined when I first visited the site, I'd have been a member for over a year. Anyway, she had always been saying how she loved to go on here and read stories because they had really good storylines and some things she just read to laugh a little. That was what I did early on. After a while, I decided to join and finally review these stories that I read with an actual penname, not just an anonymous name. Over time, I decided to start posting my own stories here and well, this is where I am now. Multiple Youtube Users» I went on youtube a lot before I even discovered fanfiction.net or fictionpress.com. But one day, somebody had a link to a story on fanfiction.net and they ended up making it a whole series. I read the series from beginning to end and loved it. It is embarrassing to say, but I remember when I joined, I was clicking on things and nothing did what I expected it to. I was so confused it's not even funny. It's hard to imagine now since I'm so used to everything on both sites. I can't imagine what I'd be doing now if I had never clicked on that link... Lily Jay from fanfiction.net » Wow, if it wasn't for this person I would have no idea that fictionpress.com even existed right now. I had read one of her poems, Timidly, and one day a few years later she added an author's note chapter. She mentioned people plagiarizing stories lately. They had been taking stories from here and posting them over on fanfiction.net. And of course me being me, I had to check out this site to see if it'd be anything that I'd like. It was a lot different than I had expected. I didn't realize that fictionpress and fanfiction were actually both connected. I thought that they had different owners. Eventually, I joined here too and have loved it ever since. .:ll Extended Notes ll:. None at the moment but I'll post some when I write more stuff. .:ll (Possible) Future/Current Works ll:. » Runaway - Ashley has a troubled life and runs away to a new town. What things will she encounter and how will this affect her life? » Writing Journal - I'm going to be posting this throughout the school year for me. I have to have two journals, but only one is worth posting the things that I write in it. Each journal entry is going to be a different chapter. They're going to be really short because I have a limited amount of time to write each one. » That Girl - Sarah leads a normal life until something unexpected happens. Over time, she learns to cope with these issues and make things right once again. .:ll Memorable Quotes ll:. "Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours. "Integrity is the recognition of the fact that you cannot fake your consciousness, just as honesty is the recognition of the fact that you cannot fake existence.Ayn Rand "There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him. -- Robert Heinlein "It is not the business of government to make men virtuous or religious, or to preserve the fool from the consequences of his own folly. Government should be repressive no further than is necessary to secure liberty by protecting the equal rights of each from aggression on the part of others, and the moment governmental prohibitions extend beyond this line they are in danger of defeating the very ends they are intended to serve.-- Henry George "The pursuit of happiness is a most ridiculous phrase; if you pursue happiness you'll never find it. -- C P Snow .:ll Advertisements ll:. This is a really cool place to find some new stories to read! What's more fun than reviewing a ton of stories? Don't vote for anything that I post here unless you really like what I posted. Though I doubt I've ever really talked to anybody that would be voting so it doesn't really matter. .:ll The End ll:. Well, I guess that's all for now. If I think of more things that I can post, I will definitely do that. I hope you enjoy my stories! ~Kali | |||||||||||
