Hello, everyone! Kat Hale here!

Well, this is something new. I've been a writer over at FF.net for a while. Both my pennames are SnowLion no Miko (for my anime works) and Dance Alice Dance (for my non-anime related things) over there - in case anyone wants to check those out. I have stories that have gotten good reviews (and some bad ones, but hey, that's how things go. seriously, everyone gets a bad review some time or another.) but those stories were always with characters that weren't mine from the get-go. They were created by the brilliant authors and manga-ka who fleshed them out and gave them personalities. So, I figured, why not try my hand at making my own characters? Should be interesting. And should be fun. Because I always have fun writing. And I think I would have even more fun making up characters and situations on my own and everything...so, I remembered this site and said, "Why not?" And here I am! :)

Enough about that. Here are some things about me! (since I loooove writing profiles for some odd reason)

I am an 18-year-old female from down South. Yeah, I have a thick Southern accent, y'all. Lol! For real. I was born on October 4th, making me a lovely Libra. I am a born again Christian and proud of it. I love eating everything in sight, but don't gain a pound. My friends hate me for that. Not meaning to brag, but it is what it is. I am straight, and get crushes on the strangest people...Seth Rogen, for one. People go all crazy over Zac Efron and I'm here having fangirly-issues over Seth Rogen and his damn cute laugh. Seth Rogen is pretty much my Zac Efron... WOW. Um, I loooove guys with accents. Spanish, Australian, British... Yeah, I'm a sucker for accents.

I love basketball. I played it when I was in high school. Speaking of high school, I just graduated. I especially love watching the NBA. It's like crack for me. I'm seriously going through withdrawals since the season ended. I am a HUGE Los Angeles Lakers fan! Have been ever since the days of Kobe/Shaq. I celebrated very merrily when they won the championship this season. Wore my Lakers cap and everything! I really want a jersey. Particularly one of the Kobe/Pau/Lamar variety. Hell, I'd love to get all three, but they're really expensive! I looove all the players and this team is just wonderful and I hope they continue to win championships! I know they will, with as much talent as they have! All the players are just wonderful and it is a pleasure to watch them play.

I used to not like reading so much. Just things here and there, but then I picked up Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" because my friend raved and ranted so much about it and fell in love. Say what you want about the series, but the characters are really endearing. Especially Jacob. Yes, you've got a Team Jacob member right here! Anyway, SMeyer's vampire saga, as well as "The Host" by her are really what got me into reading.

I love comedies. Especially those of the raunchy variety. Judd Apatow is amazing. Kevin Smith is just wonderful. (I realize I use the word wonderful an awful damn lot.)

I also love playing volleyball.

I will watch football. I like it, and I've just gotten into baseball. I especially love college teams - Go LSU!

I am also a horror movie buff. I love everything from George Romero to Eli Roth to Takashi Miike.

I am a strong believer that Heath Ledger is pure awesomeness and was taken way too soon. RIP Heath.

Alright, that's pretty much all that I have to say right now...except for the fact that I'll probably be posting my first story here soon! I hope everyone will read it! I'm still new to this whole site so I hope everything works out.
