Author has written 1 story for Historical.

I'm 23 and I live in Scotland. I'm a grad student and I teach piano to kids and adults at the local youth centre. I'm lazy, a bit of a daydreamer and love nothing more than just chilling in my room with my headphones, ipod or last fm on my library playlist and MS Word open so I can write something. For some reason, I tend to accrue lots of fic writers on my LJ flist. I'm guessing that's because I like talking to other writers. :P So if you want to add me, give me a PM and I'll add you back.

I love writing and music. I used to read a lot more than I do now, but that's mainly because the books I have to read for uni are dry-as-dust, monographs of doom. Kinda takes all the fun out of it.

As far as writing goes, I tend to write stuff at opposite ends of the spectrum. At one extreme, humour. At the other, horror. My other favourite is something that I don't think quite fits into the spectrum. See, I'm quite interested in magical realism and in things beautiful that do not seem of this world. I like to write about beautiful things that we can't quite understand. I also like writing about those beautiful things and then smashing them - warping them into something horrible. Here on fictionpress, historical fiction will also make an appearance, because I have an unhealthy obsession with Louis IX of France. :P

Fanfic: I'm Ada Kensington over there too. Same author ID: 67744. :) I write mainly for Naruto, though there's some Harry Potter and Resident Evil stuff there.

1. Isambert and the Young King reviews
Paris, 1226. The young, and later sainted, king Louis IX takes a wander down to see his kitchens with his mother and sergeants. While there, he meets Isambert, apprentice pastry-maker, and decides to give him a hand. One-shot.
