Author has written 1 story for Romance. Hello there! I don't really know what to say about me except the basics. I love reading and writing. My favorite author at the moment is Cassandra Clare. She's absolutely awesome. I've recently fallen in love with her series called "The Mortal Instruments" and I've not enjoyed a series so much since Harry Potter. This trilogy captivated me and had me hooked from the beginning. I seriously did not want to put it down and I kind of didn't. I finished all three in three days. Also recommended is Rachelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" series. I'm so excited for the next one coming out! I love reading mysterious/suspense novels. I like trying to figure out who the culprit is and I always like the occasions I turn out to be right. Pretty gratifying stuff. I basically like books that will hold my attention, which constitutes pretty much anything. I have a huge appreciation for writing and story-telling. I live and breathe music. Seriously. If I'm not listening to it on my computer or iPod, there's usually some random song playing in my head. I've recently been getting into the heavier stuff and love it, but I'll listen to pretty much anything once. I don't like country music though. That's where I draw the line. That and rap. So mostly it's Rock and Alternative. I recently found Anberlin, The Maine, Shinedown, Anarbor, Boyce Avenue, and Cavo to name a few. Those are all my latest obsessions. Along with music comes a few TV shows. I actually don't watch a lot of it anymore. But the ones I do watch are One Tree Hill, Supernatural, and Warehouse 13. Heroes, too. I harbor a secret love for romance novels. I just can't help it. As cheesy as they are, I still get ridiculously into them, despite the predictability of most of them. Some of my favorites are "The Reef" by Nora Roberts, "Midnight Bayou," by Nora Roberts, and "Hidden Fires," by Sandra Brown. That is an especially good book, by the way. Couldn't put it down. Now I must confess to something. I'm not a big Twilight fan. I used to be. And then I read Breaking Dawn and it completely ruined it for me. However, I still adore Twilight and New Moon and probably always will, though I tend to lean more towards New Moon--probably because I really adore Jacob. He's one of my favorites. So that all being said, my vote goes to Harry Potter hands down :). Totally kicks Twilight's butt. As for my personality, I kind of have a hard time describing myself. I'm fiercely loyal once you manage to work you way into my life. After the friendship's established, I've got your back. I'm sarcastic and I have an incredibly sharp tongue. Sometimes too sharp. I loathe shopping--unless it pertains to CDs or books. I love traveling and have been to a handful of places, though it doesn't scratch the surface of all the places I still want to go. I'm a good listener. I love cooking and baking. And I hate talking about myself. Which is why my profile probably sounds ridiculously awkward. And on that note, I'm going to say adios. - End the story of me - ~~~Update 11/13/09~~~ Both fictionpress and fanfiction.net stories are being put on hold for this month. Sorry I didn't get this up here sooner, but I'm participating in National Novel Writing Month (NaNo) and I'm working hard to meet the 50,000 marker. I'm already over 20K, so I'm making pretty good progress. When it's finished, I think I'll try posting it up here because I'm actually really enjoying writing it, so I'd like to get some feedback on it. Anyway... once that's finished, I'll be resuming work on "The Beautiful Lie" and start updating again. Sorry it's been so sparadic. | |||||||
