Author has written 3 stories for Spiritual, and General. Hello everyone! I'm HiddenMusic but I go by a many nicknames (Hidden, Music, Musi, Musical, Hums, etc) I'm new here but I come from the sister site, Fanfiction.net and I thought I'd give FictionPress a shot! For now, I don't have much to say...so I will tell you a bit about myself. Favorites: Books~ Wicked- Always loved the Wicked Witch of the West. This book was a must-read and I adored it! I love Elphaba's character and the story that is hers. Adult themes in this book, so be warned before reading. Harry Potter- I just admire how creative, imaginative, and well planned out it is. I felt Rowling was in complete control of the story and knew exactly how it was to end from the first word of the first book. Colorful characters and great themes! Cracker!- I just love war stories, and I enjoyed this book because it was in the eyes of the dog. Just a wonderful story! A Star in the Storm- In general I just enjoyed this book. It may be not be nearly as good as Harry Potter, but for a small story, I'd sure like to read it again! Warriors- I only like the first series of this book. I love the concept of it! But after the first series, it just gets bad and I stopped reading it. Characters could have used some work, but overall its an enjoyable story! Movies~ Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy- Just awesome characters with action I love to watch! First movie is my favorite of the three, perfectly capturing the theme of the attraction with good fun and humor. Transformers- I loved Transformers. They really did good turning this popular old cartoon an epic big screen adventure! Great affects and wonderful characters! Though the second movie was a disappointement... The Haunted Mansion- I guess what really made me love this movie is seeing one of my favorite Disney attractions become a big screen movie. I loved when they put in parts I recognized from the ride (like the singing head statues). Robin Hood: Men in Tights- This is just hilarious! I love spoof movies like these...Not much more to say here, just I find it funny! :) The Road to El Dorado- The various color schemes and the unusual story itself captures my interest. Great humor, great story! Somewhat based of true themes in history too. Classic Disney Movies- I can't list them all, that'd take forever! Disney creates wonderful, beautiful classic films and really know how to do enchanted story telling! Can't say the same for their sequels though... Opinions: Twilight Saga~ (Beware of possible spoilers) Twilight- It was a nice novel I think. It was about love and family which I greatly enjoyed. Though, it was odd how every guy suddenly had a crush on Bella and wanted to go out with her...and it's annoying in general how Edward is so perfect but for one novel I didn't mind terribly much and I enjoyed the book overall. New Moon- A bit on the boring side, but oddly, I liked it. I like rebel Bella though I think she went over the top about Edward leaving...she acted like he was murdered or something and I was greatly annoyed by her. Annoying...but to me, no Edward = :D. Sorry Edward fans, I just really don't like him. What I did enjoy was the werewolves. I found them much more interesting than the vampires so it was great to read about them. I also really loved Jacob. Eclipse- Eh, I didn't care for this one. It was disappointing. The whole having to fight an army of newborns was exciting, but we didn't get to see that...instead, Edward seems to easily kill Victoria which was boring. Just a bummer this novel was... Breaking Dawn- I'll be blunt...THIS IS THE WORST BOOK I THINK I'VE EVER READ! I'm sorry, I had to say that. This was really just a poorly written fanfiction and it revolves around this baby hybrid I don't even care about because she wasn't at all in the previous three books. I grow to really despise Bell even more since New Moon and there was build up for an event that never happens. I seriously have a lot I can say about this book and I'm willing to discuss it with anyone who's in for a good book discussion whether you liked BD or not. :) Twilight Movie~ I personally don't understand why people complain about it. For a book turning into a movie, it was great! The acting was well done in my eyes for the most part. Except for Bella, I don't think she was potrayed well...or she was protrayed perfectly because now that I think about it, Bella really is a boring character. I also think they give too much crap to Rob about his potrayal as Edward. Come on people! He has to play a perfect character! And since nobody on the earth is perfect, this is a difficult job and I think Rob did a wonderful job. You did great Rob! Don't let others tell you otherwise! Well, that's it for now! I hope to see a lot of you out there on stories and forums! :) | |||||
