Hello there, and welcome to my profile!

No, I do not own any real sheep.

I'm Nerd; it's not my real name, more of a nom de plume, but I rather dislike my real first name, if you must know. Your typical teenager=me. I'll be 16 as of October 2009, and I live in the northeast-ish United States, if there's anyone reading this who's into that sort of information.

I tend to write weird, satirical pieces; it's what I do. I've only seriously written stories for four or five years, and I've only figured out that weird stuff is all I'm good for in the last one/two. I like a lot of my stories, but the only really okay one I've done is what I am currently writing: a novel for JulNoWriMo 2009, which is being posted as I go back and revise. It is my first major lit piece, so please, bear with me.

There's probably all sorts of people on here who want to write professionally; I know I'll never really be published for what I write unless I change who I am. It's just not marketable stuff for enormous audiences, to be brutally honest. So I mostly write for fun and to get practice for AP English, which I somehow have an A in. Hmmm...

(Also, if you can't tell, I can be pretty sarcastic at times.)

If you read through all that on someone you don't know, I admire your patience.

Hope you stick around and enjoy!
