Author has written 1 story for Young Adult. "But my love, we'll race the dream together, then I'll know they can't tear us apart." The name is Katelyn, I'm sixteen years old, but I don't act it. I'm the complete opposite of your perspective of a teenager. I laugh more than I breathe, and I love to have fun. I try and live life to the fullest, I don't take anything for granted. The simple things in life, please me. I'm a very optimistic person, I never doubt upon someone or something. I love photography, it's another outage to my chaotic roller coaster, that I call my life. Writing has become a huge part of my life. I used to just write for fun, but now it's become a passion, and I write for the hell of it. Any small idea that comes to me in the middle of the day, I immediately jot it down. Cause' who knows? That could become a novel. I've written many, many stories in the past, but as I look over them, you could tell I needed more practice. A lot of my stories are based on my life, and most of them have a realistic view. I also love to read. I probably read more than your average teenager. It could be unhealthy. I'm just kidding. I'm a huge fan of the Twilight series, (yes, I admit, I'm one of those nerds). I read a lot of autobiographies by my favorite artists such as The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rockstar, Dreamseller: An Addiction Memoir, The Dirt: Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band, and Kat Von D's High Voltage Tattoo. I read them because they give me different perspectives of life, and how cruel and harsh it can be. But honestly, I read just about anything that catches my attention.
"They say to keep what you have, you have to give it away. I believe that. I also believe that you can be cool as fuck, not give a fuck and fucking kick ass in life, and not be fucked up. I'm still the first person to say "Fuck you", but I'm faster to say "I love you." If life is what you make it, I've made mine great. It took a lot of hard work and if you need to, you can do it too." - Nikki Sixx "I'm just going to keep going, doing what I do and being who I am. Every day that passes it becomes more apparent to me that time is ticking. I'm not about wasting time. I'm about getting the most out of life as I can before I'm outlined in chalk." - Mike Vallely UPDATES: November 3rd: I told everyone that I would bounce back, and I surely did. I have a new story called Breaking Free. It's about three friends who are dealing with their own problems, and are trying to find a way to get through them. I started this story a while back, but never had the nerve to post it. Every detail is about something or someone in my life-- people I observe, people I know, etc. As I mentioned, the first few chapters will be about everyone, in a specific order. I can already see where and how I want it to end, so it'll all come together once it's ready. Breaking Free has already been reviewed by two new people, which I am very proud to say. It's always nice to have new readers read my stuff and tell me what they think. Speaking of new readers, ayearningwriter has included me in her new community and I would recommend anyone who likes or has read my story to check out our community (LoveStory Inc.) and read her story as well. Another thing I would like to add, for anyone interested in this story. I've created the "front cover" or at least what I think, sort of fits the story best. I was searching around on Photobucket and found a pretty good picture. I've edited and made it my own, so you can check that out here. Thats it for now, I'll update soon. One more thing, reviews are greatly appreciated, and I will always return the favor. | |||||||
