My name is Flavia Breitweisen and I am a freshman, majoring philosophy.

I have dreamed of being a publishing writer practically since childhood (I think it was the time I read “Hobbit” and fell in love with role-playing games), but since then moved more toward visual arts (namely digital graphic). Currently I am working on a webcomic entitled “Jackdaw”. When in mood I also scribble a new, less atrocious version of a story I started writing in 2005 (aged 15) – “The Far Land Diaries”.

I consider myself a demanding reader, not easily satisfied by an entertaining book. I pay a lot of attention to wording, plot- and scene-building, story’s message. I am a big fan of old-stylish language and read mostly literature’s classic, my all time favorites being “Nineteen Eighty-Four”, “Pride and Prejudice” and “Faust”.

Despite my love for the classics, I cannot boast of a perfect writing language. Let me, however, make some creative attempts and help me – through constrictive criticism – improve.
